7 Powerful Scriptures About Prayer

 

 

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  - 2 Chronicles 7:14

 

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. - Ephesians 6:18

 

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours - Mark 11:24

The LORD detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases him. - Proverbs 15:8

 

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. - Romans 12:12

 

"This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, - Matthew 6:9

 

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. - James 5:16

GOD Says Be Ingenuous

 

If you really didn't know what Ingenuous meant prior to reading this, you're in good company because I didn't either until hearing it after a tear-soaked face, melted heart experience.

These are the moments in praise of knowing GOD is so good it's beyond words, it overpowers you . . . you're humbled.

Been there?

We may fall short often, but:

"Father, Forgive me my sins" according to Luke 11:4 is a power prayer we're instructed to pray.

GOD, our Father knows us by a name: 

"Child"

You're a child of GOD!

We are children of GOD!

The Most High calls for His children to worship Him in spirit and in truth. 

To be ingenuous means to be childlike.

"Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:4

Today, repent, ask for forgiveness, and start over fresh!

Note: Abba is Father to Ingenuous people!

Wake Up and Renounce!

“Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of GOD: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” - 1 John 4:1.

Just like there are false prophets in the world, we also know that the devil is a liar and if there is any spirit that causes us to come into agreement with a lie, then he’s for it, however it has to be sent.

Dreams too are experiences, just like we have experiences in this world. Dreams have the ability to come with torment and deceit, and things like these ARE NOT in alignment with GOD’s will for His children.

Be aware that some dreams aren’t just dreams.

• Some dreams are covenants/products of covenants.
• Some dreams are strongholds.
• Some dreams are trauma bonds sent to be relived.

When you see them squash them! Just like a natural reaction with uninvited pests, let it be the same in the spirit realm!

We're instructed to “Cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of GOD, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of The Messiah;”

If a dream is causing a spirit of anger, you wake up and you’re angry, or a spirit of lust or confusion, there’s a problem that needs to be examined. 

If it triggered some experience, memory or even some similarity to something you’ve lived that was unpleasant. It’s likely not of GOD. It can even be to keep you in a trap or state of being that’s out of alignment with who GOD says you are.

The truth is in GOD’s word. Who we are is in GOD’s word. We can stand on The Word of GOD to renounce the lies of satan and the “life we’ve always known”.

Receiving salvation and deliverance from the past is the new thing that GOD has done in our lives. We must stay close to The Father to thrive in the new life.

We have authority in The Most High! All of our authority comes from GOD.

Prior to the sacrifice of our Savior Yeshua, the Levitical priest had to do a different type of sacrificial and anointing process back in the day:

“And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:  And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:” - Leviticus 14:16-17

Notice they anointed the bigger extremities of a persons hands and feet. Our right thumb and index finger, right ear and big toe. can possibly denote us being cleaned by The Most High and utilizing our authority in Him!

We have the authority to proclaim the new thing that GOD speaks and declare it in our lives. If GOD said it, it is so.

We can renounce the old things and come into agreement with the new. When we receive Yeshua, we have a NEW covenant with GOD.

We can be made new and repent and we can wake up from a dream and renounce!

Even saying The Lord’s prayer is coming back into covenant and agreement with The Father:

“Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

which is to say: ‘I honor You, You are The Most High, and I’m coming into agreement with Your will only.’

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

which is to say: ‘Please keep me in alignment with You and nothing that’s against You. All the power and glory is Yours alone, eternally.’

If you’ve had a bad dream, it is possible to “rise and shine” it may have to come after you “Wake Up and Renounce”.

The same GOD who sees us is the GOD that causes us to see a new thing and deliver us in the wilderness.

Resilience Is from GOD's glory

If we look back at all the things we’ve overcome and even how we handle the things we’re going through, it can be attested that we’re resilient, or we’re strong in the face of trials.

The word says there will be trouble in this world, but it’s The Most High who has overcome the world. When we’re in The Most High, we have the ability to overcome The World.

To find strength when we need it the most, to find love in a hopeless place, or to get even a little bit of life in a place that seems desolate, barren, and lost . . . these are miraculous things to witness.✨

Somebody may have said at some point in life: “There’s no hope for you”.  .  . you may have even thought that about yourself at one point, but for us who believe, we have great hope.

This is hope we would never have without GOD's Word.

Scripture says, we have GOD's most precious glory in “earthen vessels” i.e. in us.

The beautiful light of GOD through Yeshua is in His chosen ones.

Wherever GOD's people are, light is.

We become the light of the world that can't be hidden, when we receive The One who gives us The Light.

The Blood Protects You

Light is an armour of defense. The light referenced here is The light of The Holy Messiah Yeshua.

GOD loves us, when we believe and receive His love, that’s only given to us through The Messiah Yeshua, we're receiving covering and protection as well.

To believe with all of our heart, and intentionally focus on being guided by GOD'S will and not the lusts of the flesh, is to draw closer to salvation. Get extremely cozy with it, wrap it around all around you. It’s for your good.

Salvation comes in the gift of life given to us through Yeshua. It’s also being covered by The Blood. 

When we Honor the covenant and power of The Blood, life Has To flow through us. It’s spiritual law i.e.,( a shield of defense). The works of death nor the flesh can stand against it.

Be sure to keep your shield on.

The Lord Will Shine On You

Your Breakthrough is here, your clarity is here, your peace is here, your release is here, everything you need to get you through the hard times has arrived.

Imagine suffering, waiting, being tried, tested, proven, prepared . . . all of the processes in our path, lved the moment The Father shines the least bit of light in our direction.

Everything must bow when Abba steps into the room.

The Word says that GOD inhabits the praises of His people, (Israel). Abba is The Holy one of Israel. This is the Israel, formerly known as Jacob, who struggled with GOD and man prior to becoming Israel.

Where GOD is, victory is.

If you consider yourself a child of The Most High, often times we don’t look like what we've been through, because Abba's light and favor has shined upon us.

We’re renewed day by day. We glow different. We brag different, because GOD gets all the glory!

We reflect our Father, and it causes our faces to shine. Keep looking to The Father, He will keep revealing His glory. He is the Dependable GOD!

The Light of Abundant Life

There’s light that overcomes darkness, and then there’s light that overcomes darkness and also gives life.

Yeshua is the way, the truth and the life.

The Father gives us life through Yeshua Hamashiach, He gives us life through the word. Yeshua is The Word that GOD spoke forth.

If we believe the word of GOD, which is the truth, we will forever be free and have Abundant life.

It’s important that we believe and not perish. Through all the darkness and chaos in the world, even that we may experience in our personal lives, we have a way to see through it. There’s a way that it’s expelled.

It’s expelled through the Holy light of GOD.

May the light of The Father lead you today!

Let Nothing Deter Your Praise

Praise causes us to conquer fear, Praise establishes our lives, Praise causes transformation, Praise causes us to see the fruit of Our Focus, because in praise, our focus is The Lord . . .

This year on my Birthday, The Lord shared a gift of The Word of knowledge that I couldn’t help but share, it was SO GOOD!!

Well, it was good to me, hopefully it is to you too, but more importantly this word is truly an Instruction: Let NOTHING Deter Your Praise!

Here’s why . . .

Praise is priceless. I can go on and on about it (which I likely will).

Let The Redeemed Come

If The Lord is our GOD, Leader, King and True Shepard, but we're not seeking Him to lead, not even paying attention to what he's doing, but instead doing our own thing, this makes for a dysfunctional relationship.

Fully belonging to the Redeemer, means fully following Him.

Do you claim The Lord as your redeemer? More importantly do you know Him to be that?

If so, then you're invited to come. Come into His presence with thanksgiving, come making a joyful noise, come with true worship, with your *whole heart in it. 

Let us seek, worship, and pray to The Lord *in Spirit and in truth. 

As His children, as His beloved and redeemed let's make sure we're listening for His voice.

May we seek and obey The Divine Shepard we belong to*, today and everyday.

Don't hide, don't be afraid of the power of GOD, come in.

*Jeremiah 29:13, John 4:24, John 10:27

Dependable G-d

GOD will get us out of and or protect us from trouble. Even if it's trouble we got our own selves into. Just like GOD fights for us, The Lord defends us in situations. 

A defender is so important in this world we live in. The Lord is our deliverer and our defender. 

He knows those who take refuge in Him. Spending time with our Father as Children of GOD, leads us to know that we can run to Him in times of trouble.* He knows us and we can get to know Him.

The closer we seek to get, we can begin to know that He's our refuge and stronghold, so we come to Him intentionally.  

Before the trouble, during, and after The Lord is good all the time. On our perceived good days and bad days, The Lord is faithful.

Like a fortified city. We know where our help comes from, all we need to do is look up.*

May we be prayerful and knowledgeable of our GOD continually.

Now Behold The Lamb

 

Now Behold The Lamb who is the Holy King. To those who believe He is our Shepard. 

Have you ever seen a sheep fighting against anyone who's tried to harm it or take it captive when the Shepard was around?

No. The Shepard does that. The Shepard is the protector. The Shepard is the caregiver. As children of GOD, we don't just have any 'ol Shepard. We have a Good Shepard*. He loves us so much that when we go astray, He delivers us, not only that "He lays down His life for the sheep". 

The Lord fights for us. He desires deeply that lost souls are recovered. When we're found to be in Christ after being lost in the world, all of heaven rejoices!*

The elders use to sing "GOD will fight your battles if you just be still". When we look to The Lamb: Jesus Christ that GOD provided for us, we're truly redeemed.

Born into sin that we may live again, that's a love that surpasses anything that could try to distract us or come against us.

It's the most powerful love, that we may not understand, but when we yield to it . . . our lives are saved.

May we forever keep our eyes on the life saving, life giving Lamb.

Your Vindication Is From The Lord

No weapon formed against you shall prevail. It won't be effective. It won't get through if you're a servant of The Lord. 

The enemy may try to smash you, but when you lift up your voice to The Lord . . . protection happens, safety happens. 

This is the heritage of the servants of The Lord.

Our tongues are lifted up against every tongue that rises against us in judgement, when our heart is turned toward The Lord.

Being surrendered to The Lord is a place that's sacred. It's impenetrable. 

As we hide in the shadow of GOD's wings. * The Lord can put words in our mouths to speak against the enemy. Even targeted, specific and intentional words that speak to our specific situation. 

The promise here in this scripture doesn't end with "No weapon formed will prosper". It also says "Vindication is from The Lord." If The Lord lifts up His voice and declares a word, it is. That's it. 

As The Lord declares a thing, we as His servants can declare it. We should declare it. We can speak what we heard from GOD. We can speak what The Lord's word says.

Nothing can stand against anything that The Lord declares. It's up to us to be in service to The Lord.

G-d Will Protect You Everyday

 

Remember this Deuteronomy (20:4), The Lord is with us 24-7 fighting for us. 365 days a year at every moment The Lord is on our side. We're His children. We're protected at all times when we allow GOD to lead. 

When we receive Jesus Christ and we're led by the spirit of GOD, we're the children of GOD.

The KJV version of the scripture reads "goeth with you" -eth means something happening continually or perpetually without end. Even the word "goes" is plural meaning GOD just isn't with us on one occasion, but all of them if we open up and allow Him to be. Let The Lord lead.

Trust this truth. If The Lord is your GOD, you are protected today and everyday.

Delight Yourself In The Lord | Psalm 37:4

 

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Psalm 37:4

Hodaya - "Splendor of The Lord", Praise, Thanksgiving.

Today give The Lord a Hodaya Praise!!

GOD is worthy! All The Time The Lord is good.

As we praise our Resplendent GOD, we become resplendent.

Praise GOD from whom all blessings flow, Praise GOD who IS the blessing. Who is always with us.

Seek trust and praise The Lord!

Hear and be obedient to His will.

Those Who Look To The Lord Are Radiant | Psalm 34:5

 

Have some face time with The Lord today!

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. - Psalm 34:5

The Hebrew word Paniym means: Face, Presence, Person. May The Lord cause His face to shine upon you!

May the presence of The Lord continually be with you. May you continually look to The Lord so your face can continue to shine and radiate with His brightness. 

May we look to The Lord, the "lifter of our heads" forever.

More Are For You Than Against You | 2 Kings 6:16

 “Do not be afraid,” Elisha answered, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” - 2 Kings 6:16

Don't be afraid, more angels are with you than there are demons against you. Stand with GOD. It may look like you're surrounded, but you're surrounded on all sides by the angels of The Lord. GOD is a covenant keeping GOD, and so The Lord of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is with us to protect us when we receive Him.

Take hold of this word from The Lord today.

Righteousness, Faith, Love, and Peace Be With You

The Kingdom has it's own agenda and it's own design. This world may celebrate striving for "the pursuit of happiness", even some believers may get caught up in the prosperity gospel, but the Kingdom isn't about food, drink, house, clothes, cars, money or bling, It's about surrendering our hearts to the King of kings. The amazing thing is that true peace is born in surrender.

In the Kingdom there is joy in the Holy Spirit and peace that surpasses understanding. The peace that surpasses understanding brings joy with it and far exceeds happiness, because happiness is temporary, joy is everlasting.

Seeing GOD is the blessing. Seeking the Kingdom first causes us to live from a place of fullness, not emptiness. Seeking The Creator's will first and foremost makes us complete.

When we ask in Christ, we receive. GOD's will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, because when we see it, we can walk in agreement with it. May you go before The Lord in Spirit and in truth, and always call on Him from a pure heart.

I woke up today with a song in my spirit, it happened to be the same song that Mali Music had to sing.  "a song about hope, a song about faith" As you might imagine there was inspiration that took place.

As I dived more into prayer, I was inspired even more about what it means to have true "hope". I decided to share this dissection, rant, revelation in this BOLD podcast episode: Not Your Average Hope".
