GOD Has Orders That Need To Be Fulfilled

GOD's Kingdom warehouse is bigger than Amazon's warehouse by far.

"Lord help me to fulfill your orders." This was my prayer today."

We've entered the season where everyone is going shopping, "Black Friday", Cyber Monday, or any given holiday. We understand this as American tradition and customs. I'm not knocking it at all, because GOD works through everything. There is some purchase and investment involved in Kingdom life.

During the pandemic I got into retail arbitrage and found success in it. As it was pressed on me today to give it another go, in addition to merch I was already supposed to create and offer in BOLD Shop, my first prayer was GOD help me fulfill these orders, but thankfully, as I recognized The King is greater than all that, the prayer became "Lord, please help me fulfill YOUR orders.

It's so important to ask GOD: What order do you want filled from me today?"
The real key to all of our success is recognizing the order GOD has placed for us to fulfill and doing it GOD's way.

Yes, This is much easier in theory than in execution. I know for a fact that toxic habits, distractions, and good ideas can keep one stuck and unproductive.

but FOCUS PROMOTES FERTILITY.

When it's truly GOD's will, all we need is provided the key is to keep focusing on and seeking GOD. Instructions will come. I've learned that obedience is the highest praise.

How To Fulfill GOD's Orders:

  • Make the purchase: "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting, get understanding." - Proverbs 4:7, Yes this too is a spend. Spend time in GOD's face seeking his will. Spend your time in the word studying it, to rightfully apply and divide it. Invest in the spend.

  • Honor The Investmentyou were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. - 1 Corinthians 6:20

In our bodies, in our minds, and in our souls, I pray that we become and continue to be good, faithful action oriented workers of GOD's will. (a workmanship)

Seeking GOD's face gives good understanding to a mortal man. We're all just workers in a Kingdom Distribution Center. This operation and obligation we have to fulfill is bigger than what they have going on at Wal-Mart.

We are GOD's storehouse. He invested talents in us. It's up to us to use them and continue to grow.

Faith and The Fire

Ignite The Fire! Spread The Fire . . .like Wild Fire! Fire In The Hole! There is something about the Holy Spirit . . . It's LIT!

No demon, no illness, nothing outside the will of GOD can come and sit comfortably in the presence of the Holy Spirit. This passion is my new infatuation. Check out the inspiration and revelation I received on the latest pod.

Scripture reference:  “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. - Matthew 6:28-34

I hope you'll enjoy this podcast and be inspired with some revelations of your own.

There is also a chance to win a copy of the book featured in the podcast. Follow the prompts featured in the graphic below, the winner will be announced Sunday, January 5th.

How Self-Love Can Be Found Through Divine Purpose

...and cleaning a bathtub.

The bathroom started talking to me, (It was literally reaching for my attention) so I figured it was time to clean it. As I started cleaning the bathroom in my living space yesterday, when I went to clean the tub, I noticed there were seven neatly stacked triangles all made of light. The triangles weren't regular triangles, they were beautiful, intricate. They were perfectly projecting on the ceramic tub.

I didn't even understand where they were coming from at first, I just knew they were beautiful and unique. After trying to inspect how this design can be coming from this flat black shower curtain, I still didn't understand. I had to go a little deeper into trying to see how it could happen, only to guess that maybe it was the creases on the previously folded clear shower curtain that were being reflected out. I definitely had to look deeper.

Right at that moment I had a revelation about the way that art is perceived; So beautiful and mysterious. Well, spirit said: "so am I as a being." As human beings we are the artwork and creation of GOD, The most sovereign GOD. How urgent it was for me to look into what caused the design is the same way that we should want to look into ourselves and discover what makes us glorious. What is it that GOD used and is currently using to compose who we are?

image

I think the best way to discover the aspects, methods, and means of how we are put together is to intentionally seek deeper into the mind of the creator. When we look into communicating with GOD to understand the beauty of ourselves then the Lord will reveal our glory through the spirit. Self-love is found through discovering GOD's purpose. The more we become aware of who we are and why, the more there is to love.

Be BOLD about looking inside of yourself to find purpose. We have a right to know and we're even instructed to knowAsk and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened" )...words from the very mouth of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8.

As I continue the process of looking into GOD's will for myself I realize that no matter what history has said, destiny always speaks greatness. Knowledge is potential for great power.

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." - King David (Psalm 139:14)

I totally agree with David on this. I feel the same way. May you also be inspired to look into what your divine purpose is saying and how highly your destiny speaks of you.

Many blessings,

3 Ways You Can Still Win In 2020

It's a great time to go really hard at fulfilling your purpose. It's winning season. Not just a year's worth, but for a whole decade.

It is not just another new year, it is a whole new decade.
These are things you can do to find yourself winning in 2020.

1. Pick an area such as mindset, courage, endurance, or growth.  Think of ideas about things you can practice over the next 21 days to help you strengthen your focus area for your new decade. For me, I want to strengthen my consistency. For the next 21 days, I have a planning journal of things I need to get done. I have decided to make a commitment and do everything possible in order to ensure I bring consistency into my new decade.

2. Think about what baggage you are carrying around with you at this present moment that is causing you to be weighed down, and is putting a real hindrance in your progression. Write it down and create a short statement that directly speaks authority over that obstacle.  For me, I struggle with acceptance. I dread putting my content (poetry, blog post, videos) out because I feel it won't resonate with anyone.  I often think it won't help anyone and no 1 will like it.  So my Affirmation statement over my acceptance baggage is:

decade, affirmation, in

3. Visualize your optimal self. What type of person would you be if you had no struggles, money was no issue, and you had the ability to complete any task on earth. What could that task potentially be? Who could that task potentially serve? How would you like people to feel when they encountered your service or whatever it is you have to offer? How would you feel to know that people are feeling that way? How would you celebrate your win? Write down these answers, and create an "Optimal Self Avatar". It will help you recognize where you aspire to go in your next decade and will give you some ideas to determine if you are on the right path.

Be intentional about winning in this season. Really figure out what is your path, and make the necessary steps to ensure you are walking down it with the power that you have.
If you are struggling to recognize what your path is, or how you own your power book yourself a free Transformational Purpose Coach call here. I would love to help you with this.

Count It All Joy

By: Dr. April J. Lisbon

Have you ever been in a place and space where everything around you was chaotic? Have you ever found yourself in a place where it was hard to concentrate on relationships or work? How many times have you felt like your life was spiraling out of control to depths unknown?

When your mind is consumed with things that are out of your control, it does feel like you are losing your grip on this journey we call life. In those moments, you may find it hard to find the sweet spots when faced with adversity. Understand that our trials and tribulations are meant to build us up and not tear us down.  In James 1:2-3 NKJV it clearly tells us “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”

God uses our faith to position us for our higher purpose. Don’t allow the fears and worries of the world to live in your mind rent free. Why? The world has no idea what it’s cost you to be where you are today.

I want to encourage you today that God hears your heart and sees your tears. He never promised that life would be easy BUT He did state He would always be near. Recondition your mindset to find joy in all you do even when it’s hard---even when you don’t feel like it. Push through the pain. Push through the tears. Whatever you do keep on pushing until the results of your prayers become your reality. Take one day at a time and celebrate every step of your journey.

Remind yourself daily that you have everything you need to fulfill your purpose.  Count it all joy!

3 Ways To Keep Your Good Vibes

It's crazy in the world sometimes, especially dealing with people. We won't always have a good mood, and if we are having one maybe someone around us won't be having a good day. Some people just might not be as cheerful or chill as we are, when we are.

The good thing is that there are ways to maintain your good vibes even when you're dealing with negative attitudes, situations or people. Here are a few ways that work for me:

Meditate/Pray
It's good to make time to meditate or pray on a regular basis, but this can also be a response to situations that we might find ourselves in. Take deep breaths in and out.  Often times taking deep breaths does wonders for our mind. Even if you don't make time to meditate, just take 3 deep breaths back to back. Even if you have to set an alarm on your cellphone, set up regular times to chop it up with God in prayer throughout the day.

Be Mindful Of What You Consume
With all the craziness going on in the news, and in the world it's easy to get depressed sometimes, especially if crazy news is the only news we're feeding ourselves. Too much information with no inspiration can take a toll on the brain. General Television, radio and media is not something that can be easily ignored, but we can intentionally concentrate on information that supports growth and good character within ourselves. What we consume either consumes us or builds us. If you're on social media a lot, set up your notifications to get news from uplifting sites first. I.E. Breathoflifedaily.com, set up a devotional on YouVersion Bible App to read through, grab a good book, go to church, etc.

Get Active on Purpose
Whether it's exercising or just getting up to take a little walk outside intentionally, get active on purpose. I read a quote today on Instagram that said: "The only way to get on your feet is to get off your ass". It was funny, but it's also true. Taking a step in the direction of progress always makes a difference. I was also recently reminded of a quote that my late grandmother loved to say: "Idle hands are the devil's playground." If we're not intentionally active we're just responsive or reactive. Getting out and moving with divine purpose, attracts divine blessings.

These are only a few ways to keep positive energy and good vibes, the good news is that there are some others beyond these. What are some ways that you maintain your good vibes in the craziness of life? Share your thoughts in the comments section below:

Time's Up For Unfaithfulness

It's like Oprah's words earlier this week were prophetic: Time's Up!

I had the choice today to come down on someone for their fault, or to compliment them and be of assistance how I could where they fell short. This came a day after me being angry at my own self for all my faults, but still feeling grace from God and the revelation to do better.

You will never get people to do right by bashing them from the start, or reprimanding them to establish a point. God doesn't bash us, but there is a number of times to keep making mistakes before its just blatant ignorance.

Let's do better! Let's strive to do better NOW more than ever.
"Times up to ignore the voice and will of God for our lives.
Times up to stay stagnant for our own comfort.
Times up to not be walking intentionally in our purpose."
As I go forward in the day I feel very encouraged to be influenced by God's character. More importantly to seek it before everything else.

Although it's not easy, it's absolutely necessary.

Building Your Personal Vision and Mission Statement for Success

Establishing your personal vision is key to gaining a clear perspective of where you intend to identify an area for success in your life. General visions are a good starting point, but often lead to unclear or unnecessary task and tendencies that lead back to square one. Specification allows us to hone in on a particular and specific intent that will lead to  success. In writing your personal vision, you want to stay away from writing in generalizations. An example of a "general" personal vision statement is exemplified below.
"My vision is to be a successful entrepreneur so that I will be able to produce a sustainable and productive lifestyle for my family."
Now this vision statement is short and immediately focuses on the point of what the subject wants to accomplish, but it also rather vague. Though the vision statement does speak to a goal, it is unspecified. Some questions to ask here that would really give our subject a better understanding of where they intend to go in their vision are listed as followed:

  1. How does our subject define success in there world?
  2. Does the subject intend to pursue multiple or a single source for entrepreneurship?
  3. What are the sources of entrepreneurship will the subject take on?
  4. how does the subject identify a sustainable and productive lifestyle?
Once these questions have been processed through, our subject can create a more elaborate and concise vision statement that will provide a clear visual of what they want for themselves. The revised vision statement is exemplified below.

"My vision is to own a craft store where I will have customers that will expand their creativity through different programs I offer. I will also incorporate artwork and jewelry for sale that will bring in repeat customers and referrals. This will allow me to meet all of my families wants and needs, while advancing our economic climate."

What the subject has done here was specified all the generalities listed in their first mission statement. They have identified what type of entrepreneurship they want to take on, have envisioned what success in that arena would be for them, have identified what a sustainable and productive lifestyle is for them, and identified how they intend to incorporate different income streams. With this vision statement, the subject has a clear visual and can always come back to reference this statement to say, my vision, my goal, my dream is manifesting because this is what I envisioned.

Now that your visions statement has become clarified, what you want to do is create your clear personal mission statement. In creating your mission statement, you create your structure or road map to figure out how you will manifest that vision you stated in your vision statement. Your mission statement should be no more than a paragraph-four sentences max. You also want to keep it short and concise just as your vision statement. Using our modified vision statement here is a perfect example of a mission statement for the craft store entrepreneur.
"My mission is to advance my skill set through partaking in creative classes that will stimulate ideas for workshops and classes. I will also provide a platform for various community artist to create and sell there work. I will attain a mentor to for guidance through my first year of initiation for accountability in customer service and financial guidance. "
Our subject has produced a comparable mission statement that details how they intend to accomplish their vision. This is the goal!! To create your road map and solidify what you want your outcome to be. With this, our subject can zone in on what needs to be done without wasting unnecessary time and resources. Building your your vision and mission statement should be the first steps you want to indulge in when you want to take on a big goal. Clarity and precision produce success.

Why The Anointing Is Really Everything

There's a part of Proverbs 31 that we miss, that we skip over while looking at the virtuous woman, it is a message. It is the anointing that appoints a king. That governs a king. It is The anointing that constitutes a virtuous woman, not physical strength or beauty. The anointing destroys the yoke of poverty and every other ailment.

The anointing is our calling that God has given us, that truly blesses others and lifts us from the wretchedness of the flesh. So the base instruction of king Lemuel's mother was to say: honor your anointing. As men and women we each have an anointing, a powerful call from God that makes us stand out. The divine royalty in us-- All of our strength, power, and glory comes from our anointing. We must take it seriously and use it wisely. Seek to know it and study it. We were created for a purpose.

Recognize your worth kings, queens, royal priests of God. Why? because like attracts like. The nobility of a king draws a wife of virtuous character and just as well... what we present draws what we collect into our lives. As a good wife is a crown to a husband's head, The anointing is the crown of all of our heads. It is in divine purpose and order that we thrive. Honor the anointing of God for your life first over everything.

The Last Crab In The Barrel

The last crab in the barrel who has pulled the others down and has gotten mangled and destroyed in the process, has nothing left to do but destroy itself.

This happens when one is insatiable. If you are insatiable you will soon be consumed.

Be someone who lifts others up, because you know what they do? ... they turn around and help you.

We rise by lifting others up.

Broken Crayons Still Color

by: Ruthann McKenzie

Have you ever witnessed young children coloring? At some point, the inevitable will happen where a crayon will break. For some small children it is heart breaking if it is there favorite color. Nonetheless, you will never see a young child stop coloring forever because one crayon broke. They may fuss, but if it is their favorite crayon they'll continue to use that crayon.

I love the analogy of the broken crayon still coloring. When we get older we begin to lose our ability to dream and life begins to break us down, year after year. Eventually we begin to forget we are beautiful and created to shine. We can still be used for remarkable things when we yield to our Creator who can restore us to fullness. It does not matter how we became broken beings, we can still be used for greatness.

In Psalm 51, King David is writing of his brokenness. At this time, he had sinned and felt the remorse of his actions and was broken hearted for his actions. Even in his brokenness, he knew that God could restore him when he repented and sacrificed his broken heart to Christ. King David knew that his broken and contrite heart could draw him closer to the Lord instead of driving him further away. The sacrifices of God can be our broken spirit and through the broken pieces light can shine through.

Today, in this moment, your future is brighter. Your broken pieces can be used for more than regret and shame, but instead to inspire and uplift another soul. Brokenness brings us closer to Christ. At the valley, the lowest point, the Lord restores when you hand those broken pieces to Him. If you don't believe this, perhaps in time you will, but know broken crayons still color.

Finding Power In Carrying The Torch

by: April D. Byrd

I was watching T.D. Jakes message Sunday night and he said "When his mother put him in vacation bible school she was Investing", when he said that I thought of how my own grandmother put us kids in vacation bible school, and I thought about my grandmother. I knew She passed around this time of year, so when I looked it up Sunday and saw it was the exact date she died 11 years ago, I exploded in tears immediately... initially I was a wreck. When T.D Jakes said his mom invested in him by putting him in V.B.S, that part kept my mind on my grandmother and how she had invested in me.

Then the pastor at the second service I attended spoke on the same thing: How we can "Invest" in the lives of others. I had to pull myself together being still on the clock, but just to think about it, my grandmother's spirit was everything, it fortified me, She fortified all of the kids she raised because of her faith. I wanted to go into that depressed space and stay there mourning about her, I wanted to grieve over her life, but the holy spirit wouldn't let me. The fact is my grandmother happened! She lived!... and she lived phenomenally! Like I said her spirit was everything. She raised 4 kids in a one bedroom apartment, she worked her butt off to take care of each one of us. She didn't have to do that! Some people don't do that. I get my hard working spirit from her. Another thing that came to light about my grandmother was that she stayed in the word. She always had her big reading glasses on reading her word... and I never understood until I got older, but when we would go to church she would be so moved she would have to walk out,(because that church didn't shout), but something would hit her and touch her so, that she couldn't contain herself and I finally understand what it was. God would be talking to her.

When you stay faithful to the word like she did , God speaks to you. Every time us kids were wondering what was up with her, and embarrassed that she was "turning up" in church, God was speaking to her. and when God speaks on such a personal level it validates everything in your existence. It touches the very essence of who you are and strengthens your faith. I get that from her too.

- 1 Timothy 1:5
So I wanted to cry I wanted to wail out and grieve, but I won't cry because her life is over, I'll rejoice that it happened. My grandmother happened!!!!! and the impact she made on my life can never be measured. I can't imagine what I would be without her. God chose to give her me. God chose to let me be raised by her! I'm so, so blessed because of it, and instead of grieving over her history, I'm gonna honor her legacy. I'm gonna prove that everything she did wasn't in vain, that all the sacrifices she made will be put to good use. I'm gonna invest in others like she invested in me, selflessly. I'm gonna Live! I'm gonna continue to live because she lived. I'm not gonna give up! I'm gonna keep running this race til the end, because she did I can... because she lived, I can. She introduced me to faith. Her very being transformed my life. She was used by God to be a vessel, and I'm gonna continue to be a vessel. I'm gonna let her light shine through me with even greater strength than I had before. Because she lived, her light is with me...and it always will be.

Her fire within me
The light that my grandmother possessed is the same light of Jesus Christ. His life was a sacrifice for us all. So we don't have to lament over his death, we can rejoice in his resurrection life and continue to carry the torch. We have the light.

8 Lessons I Learned From Volunteering At A Homeless Shelter

by: Ruthann Mckenzie

Six months ago, I felt strongly compelled to help volunteer and teach at the homeless shelter. I figured that there may be something within me to help teach others through my life stories. Well, six months later and I realized I relate quite a bit to those I have the pleasure of teaching. However, instead of it being lessons I teach from the bible, the life stories I hear from others share Christ to my heart.

I wanted to share some of the lessons I have learned so far. What teaching at the homeless shelter has taught me so far is...
Ministering by feeding the homeless

  • Preach to a world that is dying. Yes it is important to go to church and hear the word and study for yourself. Yet, if we sit in the pews week after week, then we will miss effective opportunities to spread the word.
  • The love of Christ needs to be shared. If you have hope, then share that hope with others who may not have experienced it before.
  • We all go through hardships, but you can always bless someone else. Hearing a story from a homeless individual who was blessed with a gift card and bought food was nice, but hearing him share that blessing with someone else he didn't know was amazing. He was selfless when he was also in need. It doesn't matter what situation you are in, you can always afford to help someone else.
  • We are all gifted and have a purpose. You can find yourself in the service of others. It's a humbling, but rewarding experience to empower others to aspire for more again and use their giftedness.

  • Jesus made friends with those we consider "outcasts". Perhaps He did so because those people were pretty cool and just needed someone to talk to and show them love. Jesus didn't look down on people in pity, but he was compassionate and through his love showed others the way up. By being more Christ-like,  perhaps we can socialize with those we may consider "outcasts" to the world and share love.
  • Get out of your comfort place. When I began speaking at the shelter I stuttered and cried my first teaching. I was so overwhelmed with speaking in front of others. It was uncomfortable to say the least. At the end, I spoke with the director and she commended me on my effort and told me next month would be better. I could not help but think, "next month? Did she not see me cry?" But next month was easier, and months later I can no longer use the excuse I do not know how to speak in front of others. Which brings me to my next point...
  • God can use the least of us. You do not have to be highly educated or rich in much. All you need to do to help others is be willing. A willing heart will take you far. People appreciate authenticity and realness over pretentious fluff of those who think they are better than everyone else. We all are broken vessels, but we can all be used.
  • If you want a change in the world, be the change. Stop complaining of how bad things are and actually make a difference in some way. You were not just placed on this earth to acquire things, be filled with self, worship for your own gain, or mope about how bad things are. No you and I were placed here with a purpose to worship Christ and love. We can display the love of Christ by helping those in need.

The smallest step in the right direction is significant to the kingdom. You don't have to know the most or be the best, but a willing heart is all you need. I trust that when you yield to service of others you may discover more about yourself than ever before. Be the change you wish to see and dare to make a difference!

" Making art for me is a journey of exploration, both inward and outwardly. This voyage of discovery often leads me to places I could not initially have predicted I would end up." I work on two dimensional, and three dimensional pieces, and the materials that I use vary just as greatly. Often the work is referenced  from my own experiences. From the movies that I see to the music that I listen to. From the books that I read, to the places that I travel to. These elements and many others become the basis for my reinterpretation of the world around us. By taking what is familiar and making it new, I am attempting to create a narrative that engages history, myth, social awareness, and a touch of whimsy."
