10 Ways The Holy Spirit Gives You Energy

There was a post I saw online that read: "10 Signs You're Burning Out" when our body's energy is burning out, there can be obvious signs of that. 


Most people burn lots of energy, they might try to renew with some energy drink named after a beast or a demon, or just cope with it however they can. The good news is there is a much better option for renewed strength and vitality than any type of liquid courage.

Speaking of The Most High's word and breath of life, the Bible literally reads: 

"Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." (Prov. 4:21-22)

There is life and peace in our divine purpose and power from the Holy Spirit. Our passion should be a source of restoration.

If by chance you are currently suffering or feeling burnt out, crack the Book open. It literally can improve all aspects of our health. Here's how:

1. It Fights Exhaustion

 "But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD,..."- Micah 3:8. Micah was addressing being empowered for a specific task in this verse, but being under the influence of the holy spirit revitalizes physical, mental and spiritual power. 


2. It Promotes Motivation

When we are subjected to the spirit of God we feel a robust energy to take on whatever obstacle or duty that is at hand. Continually being empowered by a life giving word whether written or spoken elicits a motivation in our spirit that can't be contained. "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." - Phillipians 4:13


3. It Helps Eliminate Frustration, Cynicism and Other Negative Emotions
Living in divine purpose and feeling the of empowerment to achieve your calling backed by the holy spirit completely terminates any feeling that what you’re doing doesn't matter that much or your effort is useless. it decreases the need for pessimism. Everybody does experience negative emotions from time to time, but feelings of frustration and cynicism in a spirit-filled life are very few and narrowly in-between.

4. It Stabilizes Focus

Weariness interferes with our ability to concentrate on menial tasks, but understanding the source of peace and revitalization of our spirit makes our focus in pursuit of it inevitable. When we are tired and worn we naturally cry out, we want to specify and directly make our petitions heard. When we Focus in worship, or meditation it's often the holy spirit that helps us communicate and gain results. "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans." -Roman 8: 26-30

5. It Enhances Job Performance.

When we are motivated to do a job, free from exhaustion and the task has a sense of intrinsic value to us, we do it with ease. Our passion is in our purpose when we love it, we will do anything for it. We are happy to build the skill it takes to excel in that area. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."-Romans 8:28

6. It Decreases interpersonal problems at home and work.

The joy of the spirit as well as understanding how purpose works decreases conflicts with other people it helps to highlight other peoples talents, roles, and specific value. The spirit helps us make a better connection with others. Through purpose we see the resource and value of relationships, we're more inclined to hear what others have to say. The holy spirit increases unity.

7. It Increases ability to make healthy choices.

If we want to live to see the vision, and our goals come to pass we understand the importance of maintaining healthy  productive habits for our mind, body, and spirit to promote vital longevity. The holy spirit also gives discernment in certain situations. "for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say."-Luke 12:12

8. It Improves Life/Work balance.

Recovering from the stress of work is easy because generally stress is less severe when you're doing what you love. It is important to stop when the actual "career" task stops and take time to celebrate with family and bask in the the beauty of life. If you just can't beat stress and worry see (every other number on this list).

9. It Generally Increases Satisfaction.

Having a good work and life balance means knowing the importance of good time management.   Purpose and time go hand in hand. understanding purpose is making the best of your time to fulfill it. Time is valuable, however fulfilling purpose is for any given day or even second.  The spirit puts our time in sync with God's time and produces an overall happiness in our lives. 

The fulfillment of the spirit overpowers the happiness of any other love or material wealth. "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit," -Romans 14:17



10. It Has Health Benefits

"a sense of enthusiasm, of hopefulness, of engagement in life, and the ability to face life’s stresses with emotional balance—appears to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. The protective effect was distinct and measurable, even when taking into account such wholesome behaviors as not smoking and regular exercise."  -according to one study quoted in a Harvard Medical Journal The root of hopefulness, engagement, and enthusiasm can be traced from joy, which the holy spirit provides in abundance. 

As I mentioned at the beginning continually being empowered by a life giving word enlivens the holy spirit and the healing restoration it provides. 

"My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. -Proverbs 4:20-22"
So skip the the energy drinks and try the "wings" of  the Holy Spirit's on for flight! Go win, and make today awesome on purpose!

Trust The Holy Spirit

 


By Yeshua, John The Baptist was referred to as a burning and shining light, by the people he was regarded as a Prophet.

John was a witness, and his witness was verified as true. The Testimony of The Messiah is the spirit of prophecy

Although, as humans our natural flesh doesn’t readily honor spiritual truth, John was filled with the Holy Spirit from his mother’s womb

As with Peter “Flesh and Blood” didn't reveal the truth of who The Messiah was to John. It was revealed by The Holy Spirit. 

When we receive The Holy Spirit, we receive power and revelation that fully triumphs over darkness. It helps us navigate difficult times and exercise faith.

In Faith we see the things that are unseen. We’re no longer blind, or walking in darkness.

Because darkness and light can’t coincide, we can shine as children of Light in this life and the Kingdom that’s coming.

May we continue to serve as light in dark places for all generations!

The Blood Protects You

Light is an armour of defense. The light referenced here is The light of The Holy Messiah Yeshua.


GOD loves us, when we believe and receive His love, that’s only given to us through The Messiah Yeshua, we're receiving covering and protection as well.


To believe with all of our heart, and intentionally focus on being guided by GOD'S will and not the lusts of the flesh, is to draw closer to salvation. Get extremely cozy with it, wrap it around all around you. It’s for your good.


Salvation comes in the gift of life given to us through Yeshua. It’s also being covered by The Blood. 


When we Honor the covenant and power of The Blood, life Has To flow through us. It’s spiritual law i.e.,( a shield of defense). The works of death nor the flesh can stand against it.

Be sure to keep your shield on.

As we praise our Resplendent GOD, we become resplendent.

Praise GOD from whom all blessings flow, Praise GOD who IS the blessing. Who is always with us.

Seek trust and praise The Lord!

Hear and be obedient to His will.

Not only is He able to keep you from falling. He's able to lift you up. You can be presented blameless before His glorious presence and experience great joy!

Have some face time with The Lord today!

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. - Psalm 34:5

The Hebrew word Paniym means: Face, Presence, Person. May The Lord cause His face to shine upon you!

May the presence of The Lord continually be with you. May you continually look to The Lord so your face can continue to shine and radiate with His brightness. 

May we look to The Lord, the "lifter of our heads" forever. 

Amen.

Overcoming Anxiety GOD's Way

Overcoming Anxiety

The cure for anxiety is peace. I know you might be reading this like duh, that's obvious. It definitely is, but it's my sincere prayer that we all really begin to choose peace, and the way that leads to it.

In Psalm 139:23 when we read that David prayed for GOD to lead him in "the way" everlasting after first knowing his anxious thoughts. It seems like it's the same "way" that's advised in Proverbs 3:5-6 when Solomon says GOD will direct our paths and make them straight, when we trust in Him with all of our heart.

Then in Philippians 4:8 Paul comes in and says: think about all the good, praise worthy stuff and the GOD of peace will be with you. 

Ok then, Lord! You mean with me on this way, with me as I travel on this journey called life where so many things happen, but when I trust you, when I set my mind on you and your glory, and when I pray, then your peace will be with me?

That sounds like a winning plan. Focus on the fact that GOD loves us and not who doesn't "like" us or what seems to be working against us. #GodlyRelationshipGoals The win and the peace is in GOD's love and paying serious attention to it. 

Here are some scriptures that mention exactly the power of doing overcoming anxiety GOD's way.

David Prayed:

"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." - Psalms 139:23-24

Solomon Advised:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6

Paul Teached:

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." - Philippians 4:8

"Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. - Philippians 4:9

YouVersion Bible App Announces New "Prayer" Requests Feature


YouVersion recently announced it's latest prayer feature that's been incorporated into the app.

According to the website YouVersion Prayer is an all-new feature in the Bible App, that begins rolling out gradually this month. The company advises users to update the Bible App to see it when it arrives.

A special video was shared to give users an idea of how the app works. Check out the official video below, which is kind of touching. The video shows the power of community prayer.




An infographic was also put out to show the functionality of the app.

The app video reminded me of the Scripture: Matthew 18:20
"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Kudos to YouVersion for the upgrade. Hopefully making prayer requests digital can help upgrade our prayer lives.

Prayer Is The First Remedy

I'm all for home remedies, Lord knows I stay looking for them. Prayer can sometimes be taken for granted as an effective tool for healing. However, prayer IS a remedy and always will be. Prayer is the most effective remedy. Pray in advance to whatever you're doing or taking to heal. 


Beauty Unfolding


So I have a question, If GOD comes to visit you is there beauty where you are? 

When GOD sees us, our space and our life there should be beauty there. 
Our goal should be for GOD to look into us and our lives and see beauty.

The awesome thing about this is that there's a scripture that says GOD gives us beauty for ashes. 

"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified." - Isaiah 61-3
I think those ashes that the scripture is talking about are ashes from everything that dies off in the process of us becoming who we really, divinely are. I think it's the part of us that gets singed whenever we go before GOD to submit our lives in worship or prayer daily. Whatever needs to go in the process of our evolution and growth.

So if we seek the presence and will of GOD daily, then we are being renewed daily. I'm realizing It's so important to do this. The dying daily that we do is us surrendering ourselves and our desires to the Lord everyday. Like sheep we intentionally follow GOD's leadership. 


GOD gives us beauty for ashes... so yes, that beauty should be in us, and we have the power to cultivate it around us. We can manifest beauty in our lives, because we can get it from GOD.


I'm reminded of a break-up process that I experienced, that I intentionally chose as my self-awareness grew. That self awareness was more of just an awareness of GOD's love for me, I started to realize what I wanted and what I didn't have to accept.


For everything that needs to burn off us, to process us, GOD gives us beauty. Some people, things, or habits can't go where we're going because of GOD's destiny for our lives.


The divine purpose that's on us wouldn't and won't allow them to stay attached to us, but GOD gives us beauty, we get understanding, we get growth, we get wisdom. 


So let's embrace these things, the more we embrace them, the more we become them, then when GOD looks at us, it can be beautifully reflected.

Love and Hate For The Church

I believe people, namely popular culture has a tendency to say more negative things about "the church" than positive, that negative energy is often cast through media depictions of  "the church".

However in my case. I feel like without the church, the gathering of believers, where would I be? I'm extremely grateful for how my life has progressed through "church and faith culture". So many of my blessings, or what I consider blessings have come through this agency.

On the same token, we have to realize that nobody owes us anything. we can't expect people to just do for us. The church is nothing more than a reflection of people. We generally have good hearts, but maybe there's a spirit or order, that thinks it's ok to take advantage of people with good hearts. 

Taking advantage of anyone is not ok. Again. nobody owes us anything, we can't put it on other people to come save us. We have to take success for ourselves. The least we can do is hope for the grace of GOD. In the understanding that the sovereign creator provides for what is divinely purposed, we can also continually seeking wisdom in it first.
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." - Matthew 6:33
