How To Find The Good Place You're Looking For

There's a place of peace that can be obtained and maintained. Don't believe anything different.

As believers, we have an obligation to stay in safety. If we leave out of The Lord's safety because of sin. It's on us.

We're instructed to abide in The Most High:

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me." - John 15:4

If we're not abiding then we're putting ourselves in danger. 

 "He that digs pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him." - Ecclesiastes 10:8

A hedge is a covering of protection, and we know the wages of sin is death. When we sin and break away from The Most High's commandments we're only digging our own grave.

It's best to cut off and kill sin, before sin kills us. 

 "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:" - Colossians 3: 5-6

If we're in any type of evil or sin, we can't dwell or Abide with The Most High:

"For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee." - Psalm 5:4

If we do well, flee from sin and seek The Most High's will instead we will be in a good place. That good place is obtaining mercy from The Lord. It's standing in favor and righteousness. The good place is the place to abide.

The Blood Protects You

Light is an armour of defense. The light referenced here is The light of The Holy Messiah Yeshua.

GOD loves us, when we believe and receive His love, that’s only given to us through The Messiah Yeshua, we're receiving covering and protection as well.

To believe with all of our heart, and intentionally focus on being guided by GOD'S will and not the lusts of the flesh, is to draw closer to salvation. Get extremely cozy with it, wrap it around all around you. It’s for your good.

Salvation comes in the gift of life given to us through Yeshua. It’s also being covered by The Blood. 

When we Honor the covenant and power of The Blood, life Has To flow through us. It’s spiritual law i.e.,( a shield of defense). The works of death nor the flesh can stand against it.

Be sure to keep your shield on.

Delight Yourself In The Lord | Psalm 37:4

 

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Psalm 37:4

Hodaya - "Splendor of The Lord", Praise, Thanksgiving.

Today give The Lord a Hodaya Praise!!

GOD is worthy! All The Time The Lord is good.

As we praise our Resplendent GOD, we become resplendent.

Praise GOD from whom all blessings flow, Praise GOD who IS the blessing. Who is always with us.

Seek trust and praise The Lord!

Hear and be obedient to His will.

He's Able To Lift You Up | Jude 1:24

 

"To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy". - Jude 1:24

Not only is He able to keep you from falling. He's able to lift you up. You can be presented blameless before His glorious presence and experience great joy!

Praise GOD for this!

Those Who Look To The Lord Are Radiant | Psalm 34:5

 

Have some face time with The Lord today!

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. - Psalm 34:5

The Hebrew word Paniym means: Face, Presence, Person. May The Lord cause His face to shine upon you!

May the presence of The Lord continually be with you. May you continually look to The Lord so your face can continue to shine and radiate with His brightness. 

May we look to The Lord, the "lifter of our heads" forever.

More Are For You Than Against You | 2 Kings 6:16

 “Do not be afraid,” Elisha answered, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” - 2 Kings 6:16

Don't be afraid, more angels are with you than there are demons against you. Stand with GOD. It may look like you're surrounded, but you're surrounded on all sides by the angels of The Lord. GOD is a covenant keeping GOD, and so The Lord of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is with us to protect us when we receive Him.

What If You Allowed GOD To Do The Mending

"A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, kill, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!" - John 10:10

Sometime ago I came across the art and concept of Kintsugi online. Kintsugi is the practice of repairing broken objects with Gold. The flaw becomes a unique piece of the objects history, this adds to it's beauty. 

This goes to show that anything that's broken can be mended. Allow the Holy Spirit to piece you back together and mend Every broken place. Your life is filled with purpose. You still and always can be used by GOD.

We can literally be "Beautifully Broken" before GOD. When The Lord repairs us our value will increase.

You may have been dismayed or disheartened when you faced certain trials. It might be true today, but take heart because GOD's got you. There is no depth or brokenness that you can't be recovered from. There is no place that you can't be healed by the Holy Spirit.

Your struggle increased your value. May you allow GOD's power and the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit to fill you. 

I pray for myself and for you as well, that every crack, every crevice, every broken place be filled by the Holy Spirit.

May you continue to grow as you know GOD and the awesome power that resides in you!

OWN Network's Greenleaf Announces Series Finale

On May 3rd, The Own Network Series "Greenleaf" announced that Season five would be it's last season. The final season will be returning in June with no exact date given.

The previous four seasons are available to stream on Netflix. In it's duration The series from Lionsgate won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Drama Series this year, as well as back to back wins (in 2019 and 2020) for star Lynn Whitfield (Lady Mae Greenleaf) in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama category.

In an official statement Greenleaf's Writer/Executive Producer Craig Wright said from the beginning him and Oprah knew they wanted to end the series after 5 seasons. Watch the official video to hear his remarks below:

Choreographer Debbie Allen Hosting Free Online Dance Classes

Famed Choreographer and creator of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy is hosting LIVE Dance classes on Instagram at no charge. The first class took place Wednesday March 18th.

Stellar Awards Officially Postponed Due To Coronavirus News

Don Jackson, The CEO of Central City Productions, the company that produces The Stellar Awards officially announced that the show is now postponed. The official notice from Jackson read that the new date for the event would be announced soon.

Central City shared that it would be postponed effectively until Summer 2020. Also included in the notice were actions that communities could take to prepare and stay healthy.

March 12, 2020 - The Stellar Awards 35^th Anniversary Show 2020 in partnership with the Orleans Hotel and Arena wishes to ensure that the safety of all show guests and participants is the highest priority. In light of recent news and the declaration of the COVID-19 crisis as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), we have decided to postpone the production of the 35^th Annual Stellars Gospel Music Awards.

 It is important that we all take this matter seriously and do our part to respect the guidelines in place limiting large social gatherings to combat the community spread of this virus.  We must adhere to the social distancing measures put into place and continue to remain vigilant about following all possible recommendations carefully, while remaining steadfast in our faith. Effective immediately, the Stellar Gospel Music Awards 35^th Anniversary Show and events are postponed until Summer of 2020. Please follow our accounts on social media @thestellars and check our website www.stellarawards.com for updates from Central City Productions. We will continue to closely monitor the situation to determine the best time to reschedule the event. It is our hope that with quick community action, we can do our part toward the solution of this global problem. Everyone has a role to play in getting ready and staying healthy.

• Individuals and communities should familiarize themselves with recommendations to protect themselves and their communities from getting and spreading respiratory illnesses like COVID-19.

• Older people and people with severe chronic conditions should take special precautions because they are at higher risk of developing serious COVID-19 illness. They should limit travel and should not attend large gatherings unless it is essential.

• Help reduce the spread of rumors. Let people know that viruses cannot target people from specific populations, ethnicities, or racial backgrounds. Being of Asian descent does not increase the chance of getting or spreading COVID-19.

• Fight stigma and fear by supporting people who may be coming back to school or work after traveling internationally or completing a quarantine or isolation period for COVID-19. 

 We encourage our families to continue to keep the mission of the Gospel community at heart and support each other with prayer and responsible preparation through this trying time.

YouVersion Bible App Announces New "Prayer" Requests Feature

YouVersion recently announced it's latest prayer feature that's been incorporated into the app.

According to the website YouVersion Prayer is an all-new feature in the Bible App, that begins rolling out gradually this month. The company advises users to update the Bible App to see it when it arrives.

A special video was shared to give users an idea of how the app works. Check out the official video below, which is kind of touching. The video shows the power of community prayer.

An infographic was also put out to show the functionality of the app.

The app video reminded me of the Scripture: Matthew 18:20

"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Kudos to YouVersion for the upgrade. Hopefully making prayer requests digital can help upgrade our prayer lives.

He discussed his leadership style and shared a message of how "unity produces glory". Dulaney expressed the ultimate goal of getting the church out of their feelings and emotions, and "Back To The Book". That book being the Bible.

The Attention To Please

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, - Ephesians 3:20

I'm really growing more and more aware that the things I want, may not be what GOD wants. My aim now is to pray about every desicion and make sure it's in GOD's will.

I thought about a big desicion in regards to a business trip this morning, but honestly I'm really feeling the impression to pray about even the "smallest" things. I pray this conviction stays with me because in my experience, not only does prayer generate provision, it also provides protection.

May we continuously, intentionally remember that GOD is really in control.

GOD is most worthy of our attention. When we give GOD our attention, GOD gives the ability we need to overcome, to succeed, to excel, and to live our best lives.

More Powerful Than Pain

I think GOD will blow our minds if we're open to it.

GOD is a mindblowing GOD
No, not the blow your brains out kind,
But when we allow ourselves to be led
The mark is definitely made
There's an etching on our heart, more powerful than a scar 

it's a kind that reminds us.
of the time that GOD blew our minds,
And there was no feeling like it,
So there is no reason to go back to hurt.

It reminds us that healing 

is more powerful than pain

                                     

"They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them." - Romans 2:15

“This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the LORD: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” - Hebrews 10:16 

You Are Stronger Than You Think

You are stronger than you think! That’s because GOD’s unlimited strength is always available to you. 

He never meant for us to accomplish everything on our own or in our own strength. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve declared Philippians 4:13 over my life because I wanted to succeed in his strength, instead of my own: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Whatever you’re facing this week, take it to GOD in prayer and trust Him with it. Then let these truths strengthen your heart and encourage your faith:

• There is no disease GOD cannot heal.
• There is no heart GOD cannot mend.
• There is no relationship GOD cannot restore.
• There is no person GOD cannot save.
• There is no pain GOD cannot redeem.
• There is no sin GOD cannot forgive.
• There is no bondage GOD cannot break.
• There is no need GOD cannot meet.
• There is no enemy GOD cannot defeat.
• There is no mountain GOD cannot move.

In other words: There is nothing our GOD cannot do! And in Him, you are stronger than you think!
