Flawed and Free Podcast: 'Manna vs Meat' Review

The Flawed and Free Christian Community and Deliverance Ministry has led me to many divine insights over the past few weeks. The Mentorship Academy along with the resources on their website like the blog, YouTube Channel, and other content have been real eye openers . . . in the Spirit.

Episode 13 of the podcast 'Manna vs Meat' gets into the deep discussion of GOD's perfect will vs His permissive will. As I began to listen to the podcast I was wondering "was there actually even a such thing as GOD's permissive will?"

LaTyna Jalieba, FFM Academy Instructor and Podcast host breaks it down perfectly. The answer was definitely clear by the end of the podcast. It was a great listen. There were points where I laughed. I love LaTyna's personality. Her exploration through The word in this episode and others is enjoyable. It's fun to listen to, but at the same time insightful.

A few key takeaways and gems I got from the podcast episode are below:

  • "GOD is not looking for us to be perfect. He wants us to seek Him in His perfection."
  • The perfect will of GOD is full of order.
  • "GODs perfect will comes with rest."
  • "you shouldn't make decisions for yourself then take it back to GOD for GOD to bless, that's out of order."
  • "If you fail to learn contentment you will contaminate your future"
So many good takeaways and these are just a very small few. You can check out the episode Manna vs. Meat below and all the latest episodes of Flawed & Free podcast at theflawedandfree.com

Would love to know, what were a few of your favorite takeaways from this episode?

Sunday

Repentance, Renewal and Resurrection

Maybe 2020 is forcing us to step up.  .  . uncomfortable huh? Imagine how uncomfortable it would be to have nails pierced through your hands to help hold you up on a cross, while you rocked a crown of thorns on your head . . . way too graphic I know, but praise GOD that's not the case, I digress.

I remember in early January when someone said 2020 would be a great year for me, I agreed, but really became aware today, Resurrection Sunday in the midst of COVID-19, that all things, at each moment should be from the perspective of the plans GOD has for us as believers.

Listen to the full pod: "Repentance, Renewal and Resurrection" here. It's a bonus episode! Happy Easter!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and don't lean toward your own understanding; - Proverbs 3:5

Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. - Romans 8:12-13

And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that so you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Romans 12:2

“Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. - Revelation 1:18

Repentance PrayerDear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior

Podcast: Spiritual Fitness For Abundance

Are we really prepared for the blessings that GOD provides? If not, how do we prepare? This episode of BOLD Podcast shares insight from a personal experience and tips on gaining the fitness required to "workout" real faith.

Monday

Building Spiritual Muscles For Your Breakthrough

This morning I thought about how I gave up my gym membership because it wasn't currently in the budget and all the amenities that particular gym, came with in comparison to another gym.

I had really started slacking in exercising on purpose anyway before I cancelled it, but later in the morning as I was in corporate prayer at church and the bishop was talking, I realized not only should I be thinking about building physical strength and fitness, but how taking time to build spiritual strength is even more important to be considered in terms of investing in it and maintaining it.

"The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding." -Proverbs 4:7
We talk about "Breakthroughs" so much in spiritual and church conversations. It's like a buzz word that's thrown around a lot, but we should consider that there is real faith and action put behind them most of the time. Faith doesn't work, without work.
"So, also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." - James 2:17

If we don't intentionally take time out to seek the spirit. How can we pray in the spirit? If we aren't praying in the spirit, seeking GOD, then what are we being motivated by? who's will are we operating on?

Building spiritual muscles, just like building physical muscles takes prayer, faith combined with action, dedication, and time invested. What we don't know and what we don't do can can hurt us, and it usually does!

However, taking the time out to increase  strength. Is totally life giving! Praying and obeying GOD's will is not for GOD, it's for us. Invest in it at all costs!

DISCLAIMER: There is nothing we can do in ANY of our own strength without GOD. Building up spiritual strength means seeking GOD's will first and exercising the mission we receive in prayer to execute. When we try to do so much in our own physical strength we will get burnt out and eventually lose motivation.

Breakthrough requires that we get out of our comfort zone. Take time to Pray, study, and be BOLD in executing GOD's will through your life.
