When You Stand, GOD Steps In

"What do you do when you've done all you can, and it seems like you can't make it through?"

Child, you just stand, you just stand, STAND and you don't give up!

Through the storm, stand through the rain, through the hurt, yeah through the pain,

Don't you bow, and don't you bend,
Dont give up, no don't give in.

Hold on, just be strong, GOD will step in, and it won't be long!

After youve done all you can, you just stand!"

This song blessed me this morning, an oldie, but a goodie!

What I got from this is that we're not just standing for the sake of standing, with no premise.

When we stand, we stand on the promises of GOD!

"Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;"
Eph. 6:14‭-‬15

The peace is the promise. The peace is in the New Covenant, in Yeshua Hamashiack!

When we're standing in The Lord's will, we're standing with liberty and freedom!

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and don't be entangled again by a yoke of bondage." - Gal. 5:1

I pray all is well with your soul today according to The Word of GOD!

Be Encouraged!

Motivation Music: Lecrae and 1K Phew "MOVE" [Video]

Ayye! It's a bop!

You can do a jig or whatever you want to do, but the single "Move" by Lecrae and 1K Phew will definitely have you "moving it".

The single is from their latest collaborative album No Church In A While.

Besides the production on the song with beats that will get you moving, both Lecrae and 1K Phew spit a few catchy bars on the track.

"Say a prayer on the floor like it's War Room," 1K Phew spat referring to the popular 2015 Film.

In addition to sly verses like "I got the light on me can't lose it" and "light of the world 'til The King is back." The duo came in hot with the rhetoric.

Both rappers shared an unashamed flow for the song that works brilliantly. Check out the official video below to get you moving.

watch the official video below:

"Move," is said to be a fan favorite from the album. The video directed by Jerrell Green & Caleb Seales was filmed in Atlanta, GA.

It finds 1K Phew and Lecrae recreating the drill sergeant scene inspired by the 1995 film, Major Payne, starring Damon Wayans and Karyn Parsons. 1K Phew whipping the Unashamed Army into shape and Lecrae puts them through the drills! Watch the "MOVE" video below. No Church In A While is available for streaming now! To stream now, click here."

Motivation Music: "I Need Your Glory" | Earnest Pugh

"I need your Glory

I want your Glory

Less of me and more of you is what I need . . ."

This is the prayer today. I pray that as we go forward in the day that we seek GOD's face and will in all that we do. That it's just not the main pursuit, but it's THE pursuit.

Have a glorious day!

1K Phew & Lecrae Announce New Collaborative Album, 'No Church In A While' | Release Single "Wildin" [Video]

Gospel Rap Artists Lecrae and 1KPhew are releasing new music, and it's together.

[Jackie O & Co Release] A new breed of artists are taking the trap sensibility and elevating it into a new sound called “Street Gospel,” a term coined by Atlanta based Reach Records artist, 1K Phew. 1K Phew’s smooth delivery, swag, and evocative vocals have an infectious quality that is streetwise yet commercially viable.

NO CHURCH IN A WHILE Cover Artwork

Reach Records president and co-founder, Lecrae describes Phew’s sound as hip-hop that is equally at home in the club or the church. “Our artists at Reach Records are continuing to prove that faith can exist beyond the pews of the church if expressed authentically. Rappers like 1K Phew are carrying forward the torch we lit with ‘Let The Trap Say Amen’ using their music to reach hip-hop heads with a spiritually that’s not forced or foreign to them.”

1K Phew’s new project collaborative album with Lecrae, No Church In A While, features 10 tracks including: “Wildin” “Ready Or Not,” “Move It,” “One Call,” “What We Gon Do,” “Amen,” “Blockhead,” “Born Sinner” “Save Us,” and “No Church In A. White.” Lecrae was recording his mixtape, Church Clothes 4, when it occurred to him that people actually hadn't been to church to even put on those church clothes in a while because of the pandemic, church hurt, and other reasons.

The concept for their collaborative album, No Church For A While grew out of their conversations. “No Church In A While has all types of meanings,” expresses 1K Phew. “We just went through the pandemic and ain’t nobody [go] to church in a minute. This album is for everybody who ain’t been to church or connected to God in a while who thinks they can’t go back. It ain’t really that deep. God is waiting for everybody to tap back in. No Church In A While is telling people there’s still hope, you can still turn to God no matter how long you’ve been away.”

Motivation Music: "Rain On Us" | Earnest Pugh

"Rain on us! Send your Spirit Lord!" This song "Rain On Us" by Earnest Pugh is definitely a powerful prayer request.

Every word especially "Let your glory fill this place" "Let your all consuming fire fill this tabernacle." They're EVERYTHING!

May our bodies be a tabernacle for The Holy Spirit always.

"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?"  - 1 Corinthians 6:19

Jesus replied: “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ - Matthew 22:37

This song definitely has the oil. Hopefully it's a blessing to you. Listen Below:

Juan & Lisa Winans Release 'It Belongs To Me' feat. Marvin Winans

Gospel Music's premiere millennial GRAMMY-nominated couple, Juan and Lisa Winans’celebrate the release of their official debut single, “It Belongs To Me,” featuring 6X GRAMMY-Award winner Marvin Winans. Following the success of their 2018 Holiday EP, A Little Soul for Christmas, “It Belongs To Me” encourages all that the good news and promises of God are for them and will come to pass. It’s a beautifully rendered and timely message as the world faces a global health crisis and rising social and political unrest. “It Belongs To Me” will be available on all major digital retail outlets on Friday, May 8, 2020.

Juan Winans began his career with the Billboard #1 Gospel Album, “Winans Phase 2: We Got Next.” Juan and his sister Deborah Joy Winans (“Greenleaf”) toured in the original musical Born For This: The BeBe Winans Story, for which Juan won Best Male Lead at the 2019 NAACP Theater Awards. Lisa Winans (formerly Lisa Kimmey) is best known as one third of the Dove Award winning, Contemporary Christian Music trio, Out of Eden. The group was active from 1994 to 2006, producing seven albums. During Lisa’s tenure with Out of Eden, she appeared on the 90’s sitcom “Moesha,” and hosted original programming for the Gospel Music Channel. In 2006, Out of Eden retired and released a greatest hits compilation. The trio reunited in 2014 for a special Gotee Records compilation album with a cover of House of Heroes’ single “Constant.”

“Our single, (“It Belongs To Me”) is more than a song to us, it’s the way we are aspiring to live. Jesus said that He came to give us abundant life. That’s a big, bold statement and just one of many promises offered to us as children of God. This song is a declaration of our desire and dedication to living in those promises; to possessing every gift and blessing that God makes available to us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. ‘It Belongs To Me’ is our anthem of grace and faith,” says Juan Winans.

10 Scriptures You Can Fight Off ANYTHING With

Yesterday I had a question come to mind. What scriptures do you use to fight with?

Scripture says the Devil is an adversary so, If you had to fight an enemy using scriptures. . . What scriptures would you use to fight with?

Of course I googled cause it's just in my millennial nature. I definitely want to get to the point where I have my arsenal ready upfront. I will. In the meantime I found a few helpful ones. Honestly, the majority of the scriptures that I came across had to do with GOD's protection, more than actually fighting.

I love that we are protected by GOD and The Lord fights for us. Jesus already won the battle. It's definitely up to us to really know that and use it. Jesus's victory is our ultimate weapon!

"No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me," declares the Lord." Is. 54:17

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10 recognize that Jesus is the life bringer.

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4 NIV).

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (2 Timothy 4:18 NIV).

"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." - James 4:7

With the current research I've done, I've come to the conclusion that our fight is basically knowing that the battle is won, and knowing who to submit to because in that submission we are protected. It's only when we go out of that submission that things get crazy. Scripture says in Ecclesiastes 10:8 that a person who breaks the hedge might get bitten by a snake. A lot of times it's being out of the standards that we're given. . . out of GOD's word, Out of GOD's will, out of alignment that runs us into trouble.

I started this journey off with what we need to know in order to fight. So essentially let us know that GOD loves us and we can use the word of GOD, which is important to know to face any obstacle, any enemy, or any thing that sets itself up against the knowledge of GOD. 2 Corinthians 10:5

"In all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Rom. 8:37

This brings me to a song a recently had on repeat. Mali Music sings and iterates this beautifully in his song Conqueror . . .

When I asked this question on Facebook someone suggested the Beatitudes: Matthew 5

Koryn Hawthorne Debuts "Enough" Single on Overcomer Soundtrack

The first time I heard the song "Enough" I didn't know it was affiliated with the new Overcomer film by the Kendrick Brothers. I just figured it was another hit by the "Unstoppable","Won't He Do It" phenom.

The fact that "Enough" is apart of the Overcomer Soundtrack makes it even more special. The lyrics of this song encompass what it truly means to be an overcomer. In Koryn Hawthorne's powerful signature sound of boldness and declaration we get verses like:

"I can overcome anything 'Cause Your Spirit is alive in me."
I am chosen and redeemed Your love has set me free You define my identity".

"Enough" by Koryn Hawthorne will definitely be a classic and mainstay on my playlist. check out the song Enough by Koryn Hawthorne in the video below and leave a comment about your favorite part of the song in the comments section.

Go Get It - Mary Mary
"It's like You lookin' through a telescope you see where you gonna be Growin' gettin' better you're not the person they see. Can't be mad at the things you've been through, 'cause they built your muscle. Now you're stronger than you've ever been, they can't stop your hustle
Yo faith ain't never small that's what brought you this far
See you got your dreams and you got your prayers and you got you God. He gonna take you there, See everybody has a season and I've believe this one's your's. 'Cause you've been working, waiting, this what you've been praying for
 Go get it!"
GOD has given you the vision, it's up to you to be BOLD and execute it. Like the meme says " The dream is Free, The Hustle is sold separately."

Your Destiny - Kevin LeVar & One Sound
This is not a time to get distracted. . . No no no
This not a time to go off course,This is not a time to lose your focus, You got a work to do for the Lord, And you cannot afford to lose your way
You've come to far from where you started from, So please don't let the time you've sown Be wasted on things that you'll later regret, Wishes you never had Once your realize it wasn't worth it, Your destiny is too important to give up for anything.

Your destiny and purpose is way more important than anything that tries to distract you. Stay Focused. Stay Faithful.

Nobody Like You Lord - Maranda Curtis

"Oh Lord, Our Lord How excellent Is your name, Your name is strength, Your name is power A strong tower, Makes me safe, Oh Nobody like you Lord. . ."
Acknowledging that GOD's name is strength and power, empowers us. We are made strong in GOD's power alone. "But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected inweakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladlyin my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me." Who wouldn't serve a GOD like that?!
