3 Keys For Automatic Success

Moving forward requires three things: preparation, dedication and revelation. To succeed, you must depend upon God for direction daily. - Thomas Dexter Jakes

If there's anything that guarantees you automatic success in life, it's these three things. You may not naturally have joy and peace all the time, but if anything will make you successful on your journey and get you back to them it's your preparation, dedication, and revelation.

Who's Dream Are You Living?

God created each of us and gave us purpose. Within purpose, there are dreams, goals, and aspirations. It's easy to see the lifestyles of the rich and famous, and think that's something to aspire to, but is it right for you? The blueprint and the details for our unique situations are directly tied to our Divine revelation.

The main way for us to know what's right for us as individuals is to acknowledge and connect with the Most High Creator.

Daily time spent to pray and communicate with God increases the chances that we'll do that which were created for. It's in the diligence.

Prayer is the best thing to do regularly, it also builds a habit of consistency in other areas. The things that drive us, what we go after, and why we go after them will affect what we produce as well as the outcome we receive.
"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."(Psa. 127.1)
When we intentionally seek God first and go about our day in the spirit we reap all that comes with it. The manifestation of our divine dream is promising. Often we fail to realize that the spiritual world is even more real than the physical one we see.

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matt. 6.33)
"All these things" include abundance on a greater level than we can imagine, even greater than the selfish desires we may envision. God's dream for us is better than any dream we could ever imagine by ourselves, and when we stand behind that vision it becomes the motivating force that empowers and keeps pushing us to achieve them.

It's faith that makes our "in the meantime" moments so powerful.

Christ said: "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10.10) yes this likely includes financial wealth, but having emotional intelligence, peace, and personal G.P.S for our soul is a type of bag that's unmatched.

It's putting God first that helps us stay motivated. Living The dream is not the one the world has in mind. It's a vision by the Master of creation. There's no road map to life, but there is a guide to living "the real dream". Scripture which is God breathed helps the chosen tap into our destiny, daily.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jer. 29.11)

Investing In The Treasury Of Heaven

"But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." - Matthew 6:20-21
I was doing some thinking this morning about what the treasures that should be stored up in heaven are. What I got from the spirit when I asked was: confidence.  From this I believe what it means to "store up for yourselves treasures in heaven" is to have confidence. As scripture notates; it's to not have confidence in worldly possessions, but to put our confidence in the will of GOD. The will of the spirit consists of the things that are virtuous, the things that hold virtue.

Kim Thomas, host of The Dope Black Chick Podcast says that to "trust" is to really to "have confidence" in a person, thing, etc. So to place confidence in the things of GOD, to invest in GOD's business means to invest in a value that is unfailing.

It has been my experience that GOD's work is of immense worth. It's worthy to put our full investment in the things of GOD i.e. "store up for yourself treasures in heaven".

It's trust in, it's belief in, it's confidence in the power of GOD to supply our needs. It's trust in our ability to manifest what we need because divine power is vested in us.
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19
Christians consider heaven to be a reward, it's considered that in heaven there is a position to be had, but we have the ability to walk in our "heavenly position" now.

The same chapter Matthew 6 includes Jesus's teaching for us to pray:
"your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." - Matthew 6:10
So, understanding that the ability for us to be in sync with heaven is implied. I noticed that Wikipedia describes heaven as "a common religious, cosmological, or transcendent place where beings such as gods, angels, spirits, saints, or venerated ancestors are said to originate, be enthroned, or live."

The words to "be enthroned" stood out to me because legacy also comes to mind when I think of heaven. If we're to go to heaven, what legacy have we put in place for ourselves or will we leave behind in the earth?

When I was told that my maternal grandmother passed away there was no doubt in my mind that she was in heaven, because of all the things that I personally witnessed with her life and seeing her faith walk.

In essence, heaven is a realm that we humans have access to. Heaven is a place that is tangible. Heaven is in our hearts as believers. Build that relationship with GOD through Jesus, and maintain it with all you got! The true treasure is to have confidence in GOD's love. As you go forward I pray that you have confidence that GOD is good and GOD's love endures forever, it's the best "trust" to have.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28

All the best,

Gifts That Make Room For Us

By April D. Byrd

A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men. ~Proverbs 18:16

Do what you do best and do it with excellency,  keeping your gift in mind. Even if it's something simple as posting a Facebook status with good grammar.  Yesterday the spirit reminded me of just how important presentation is. As a Writer, If i’m not on point and displaying excellence in my gift, how do I expect to be called upon to help somebody else, or bring them before excellence? Who will bring us before excellence if we don’t do it ourselves? Our special gifting or talent that we authentically have makes room for us and brings us before great men. Making room means to create opportunities and opens doors.  It's up to us to Capitalize on that!

There is a saying that goes: "when the teacher is ready the student appears." Well when you are prepared for it, the opportunity comes. Being cognizant of your gifting and who you are is important. What are you passionate about? There is no actual set path to success, but it's important to be professional and confident in your gift.

Go towards your goals and express your talent with no reservation, because it's especially yours. When you go towards it, a way will be supplied. Where there is a will, there is a way. The world makes way for the person who knows where they are going. If you know where you're going, what you're doing, and exactly what you want to accomplish, then chances are you wont be very disappointed with the results you get.

Taking action to express our gifts to the world, is a gift to the world. We were created with purpose it's up to us to fulfill it with passion. Be open to your positive, creative inspiration then open your greatness up and share it with the world. Put Gods will first. Seek Him before everything else.

Lets Get It Done

Let's Get It Done!!
Its time to get up! Strengthen your self! Brush the dust off your dream, focus and get things done. Do you have a passion and a dream throbbing in the recess of your soul that you can't seem to shake, but don't know how to birth? Well then, this message is for you. It's one thing for you to settle for a while , stick your dream on a shelf, as you get yourself together so you can prepare to passionately go after it. It's however, a totally different thing for you to kill your dream because you have reasons that make you believe your dream is too lofty for you to go after and is impossible for you to successfully accomplish.

We all have what we call legitimate reasons why we think we cannot pursue our passion and dream. Think being the operating word. I however have great news for you! It's not too late for you to go after your passion. I know you may have tried many times and failed, I also know that deep within you, your dream still lives, no matter how hard you try to kill it.

Understand that your dream gives you reason to come alive and empowers your capacity to produce with joy and enthusiasm. Your dream drives your passion and brings you satisfaction. It enables you to come alive and live with excitement. Without a dream you and those around you perish because the capacity to see is diminished, therefore hope is curtailed. Your dream is also your vision, so it allows you to forecast and live for larger things rather than just bread and butter. It's your dream once set in motion and moving that brings your self worth to new levels, and cause your confidence to grow because you were fashioned, equipped, gifted, prepared and brought into this earth for the birthing of your dream, so it can impact this earth. Dreams have produced heroes in very unlikely places who endued great odds with tenacity and zeal because their dream was louder than the obstacles they faced, in fact the obstacles themselves were the very reason for birthing the dream
itself.

I ask you again, do you have a dream? Is your passion aligned with your dream or have you ceased to dream because you are scared to live or to fail?

I know what it feels like to know your purpose, have a deep seated passion and lofty dream that you think you can not actualize. I also know the painful frustration of avoiding to pursue your dreams in the name of what ever obstacle you think stands as a mountain between you and your dream. But I know the joy and satisfaction that comes from surrendering your self to your passion and pursuing your dream. It's life altering and exhilarating. It centers you and brings you balance and gives you reason to become. Let Voice Of Wisdom Transformational Coaching come along side you and walk with you to your dream with passion. It's a new day and new season, Lets get it done, because you can.

Coming soon!!!! "Let's Get It Done" Conferences! If you have a dream be on the look out!!!!!!

Motivation: You Can Start Living The Dream

Moving forward requires three things: preparation, dedication and revelation. To succeed, you must depend upon God for direction daily. - Thomas Dexter Jakes

God created us and gave us dreams, goals, and aspirations. So who's dream are you living? It's easy to get caught up in the lifestyles of the rich and famous, although it looks nice its not always the ideal.

Its not the best fit for everybody. The only way to know whats right for us personally is to acknowledge and connect with the creator. If you're not motivated to get up and pray and communicate with God routinely, chances are you won't be motivated for much else.

Prayer is the best thing to do regularly, it also builds a habit of consistency in other areas. The things that drive us, what we go after, and why we go after them will affect what we produce as well as the outcome we receive. Our motives directly affect what we produce. If were pursuing money just for the sake of having money, or a house just for the sake of having a house, then that's all we'll produce.  When we intentionally seek God first and go about our day in good spirit we reap all that comes with it. This notion has been personally tested and approved. I have realized how literally nothing goes right if I don't put God first, but the day goes superb when I do.

Also, Scripture reads: ...seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. "All these things" include abundance on the greatest level and that is truly what "living the dream" is. God's dream for us is better than any dream we could ever imagine by ourselves, and when we stand behind that vision it becomes the motivating force that empowers our dreams and keeps us pushing through reality to achieve them. It is faith that makes the "in the meantime" moments so amazingly powerful. scripture reads: "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

If that includes money then so be it, but it also includes emotional intelligence, peace, and a personal G.P.S for your soul. It's putting God first that helps us stay motivated. The dream is not the glamorized, commercialized idea pop culture has in mind. It's a vision by the master of creation and the creator of everything good. There is no road map for life, but there is a guide to everything you've ever wanted or could ever dream. God's word is the fresh content daily.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Does Evil Serve a Purpose?

-->
“Virtue cannot be destroyed, while evil inevitably destroys itself.”

Does evil serve a purpose? This question has been asked from the beginning of time. And at different times in history, scholars have offered answers. Here are a few thoughts – not a scholarly paper, born of study, but an opinionated response to the puzzle. Perhaps some readers of this article will share my thinking.

Broadly, evil confronts us in three ways:

1) Self-inflicted – when poor judgement shoves us to rash actions.

2) Beyond our control – when we do not have control over the situation. For example, we incur losses through floods or an earthquake.

3) Perpetrated by evildoers – people who have power over us, through their position or physical power.

Whatever the source of evil, it is not welcome. What possible purpose does evil serve? Let us examine that question.

1) Without evil we would not fully appreciate what is good.

Consider the behavior of people – both good and bad. How would we appreciate the loving spouse, the devoted child, the outreaching neighbor, and the understanding boss, if we did not have in contrast the indifferent spouse, the uncaring child, the quarrelsome neighbor and the unfeeling boss? It is the contrast that shows good behavior in good light. The juxtaposing of the two helps us recognize good behavior and praise it. It also brings to the fore another truth – unless we hate what is evil we cannot love what is good.

2) Out of some evil much good comes

Let us look back at our lives – the bad times when we suffered some form of pain. We cursed and bemoaned our misfortune. We hoped it would end quickly. Sometimes it did; at other times it went on. Only in retrospect do we thank God for what was apparently bad – the period of illhealth which restrained us from a dangerous misadventure; the financial squeeze that prevented us from spending money wastefully; the loss of a good job only to find a better one; the breaking of one relationship to discover that we were spared prolonged unhappiness. We become wiser from such experiences – learning that evil has a good side to it.

3) Some good people become better.

Horrified by the ferocity of evil around them, the good choose to become better. Some even become crusaders. Martin Luther King Jr. rose giant-like with the slogan – ‘stone them with love’ – to counter racial discrimination in the USA. Mother Teresa, through compassion, battled the scourge of hunger, pain and destitution. During WWII unsung heroes emerged to carry on their mission of defending and protecting victims of savagery. Today, there are people who are standing up against the violence women and children suffer – raising their voices, mobilizing action and getting some results. They sacrifice time and money, and put in long hours in defending the defenceless. They realize that evil happens when good people do nothing to prevent it. In good people there is a swell of compassion that waters the least expected places to let heroes sprout. There is no doubt that if we cease to be better, we will soon cease to be good. Not to advance is to retreat.

4) A chance to return good for evil.

They say that to return good for good is human, but to return good for evil is divine. When we are confronted by evil from evildoers, we are raised to sainthood by doing them good. We refuse the easy way out of returning evil for evil when we are patient, tolerant and forgiving. The example of Mahatma Gandhi, the frail fakir of India, comes to mind: When he was abused and beaten by the British he would not protest or strike back. His action won him grudging praise even from his tormentors. Meekness is not weakness, but strength harnessed for service.

5) The evil ones find solace in repentance and conversion.

A Sunday school teacher asked a class what the word ‘repentance’ meant. A little boy said: “It is being sorry for your sins”. A little girl also answered: “It is being sorry enough to quit”. The little girl made a valid point – true repentance leads to conversion. Of course, there is the probability that evildoers do not repent at all and persist in their ways, or show repentance with a motive, only to return to their old ways. That evil may continue does not discount the fact that some evildoers could truly repent and mend their lives. The small number of such conversions adds to the number of good people in the world. That is a substantial gain.

6) Those who suffer are drawn to God.

“Man is born broken. He lives by mending. The grace of God is the glue.”  -Eugene O’Neill

When we have suffered from evil, when all else fails, in our brokenness, in the silence of our hearts, where there is only pain, God’s grace works its wonders. He heals our wounds. He fills our souls with a peace that can come only from Him. Only those who have suffered much have experienced this peace; they find God; they discover that to be rich in God is better than to be rich in goods.

Evil in any form leads to suffering in some form and suffering in no form is welcome. Like the slave toiling in the noonday heat longing for sundown, we want to opt out of suffering. Yet, it cannot be denied that much good comes from some evil. As someone remarked, rather seriously, that ‘evil is necessary’ for the best part of man to combat the worst part.

Discussion: What do you think? do you think evil has it's place? What do you consider to be evil? post comments below:

*Editors Note: If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. -Mark 3:5
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. -Luke 16:13

Motivation: Make Your Money Work

Where does all of our money go?
Since I've started writing and being involved with Social Media, I've won a lot of things online. Recently tickets to a professional conference, and before that a blogging contest with a cash prize attached.

I was overjoyed that I had money to show for my work, and I knew it was God's blessing, but I started to think what is the point of continually earning/winning  money if it all goes nowhere productive.

I happened to be in a Public Library while having this thought and walking by a book shelf, just as the thought crossed my mind, my eyes landed on a book "The Money Book: For The Young, Fabulous, and Broke." (a description that suits me to a T). It's like God read my mind, we we're definitely on  the same wave length, and Lord knows I rarely have time to read, it was an Audio book, which made it even better!

My Pastor would call a chance like this "Serendipity"
meaning something that happens accidentally, but at the same time on purpose. Right now I just call it a blessing! We are meant to be successful in every area of our lives.

A lot of us make good money, we just don't manage it well. Having the right management and organization skills really helps to have a better life. Don't be afraid of money! Make your money work! Get educated and stay motivated! God is on your side, and even though success comes one step at a time, take the necessary steps to achieve your goals!!

3 Steps To Make Your Money Grow and Work:

Budget
By assigning each dollar to a category you are controlling where your money goes and what it does. This will help you to begin to reach your financial goals.

Get Out Of Debt
Debt becomes a burden and limits the choices that you can make. One of the best things you can do with your money is to get out of debt and stay out of debt!

Save
This how you can grow your wealth the most effectively. Additionally saving money can help you be prepared to handle the ups and downs that will happen throughout your life.

GO MAKE TODAY AWESOME!!!

Motivation: Access Your Best

They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death. -Revelation 12:11

We are saved by Christ blood and by sharing our testimony of  what He accomplished through us, by his choice to give His life.

Live Your Best Life.

Because Christ "Chose" we have the power to make great choices as well. We have the power to overcome the weakness of our flesh.                     Isaiah 53: 1-12

Let your Spirit's will to succeed be stronger than your body's limitations. Jesus Christ victory in the garden of Gethsemane won the power of human will, when He uttered "Lord, Let not My will, but your will be done." We have the power to overcome every sickness, every affliction, every bad habit, when we submit to God's purpose for the life He gave us and take on the strength we gain through the power of Jesus Christ.

It pleased God to bruise Him and It was Christ's CHOICE to die, so that we may LIVE, and live abundantly!! Take up your right to abundance, and take it by force, because your spirit has a kingdom authority and power that holds the key to everything you could ever want! ITS INSIDE OF YOU!! GO FOR IT!! Don't settle for less than the best when the best of LIFE is yours.

Your Testimony and Your Life is all yours... Make The Best Of It!!!

8 Reasons Why People Fail...Even After Prayer

One of the reasons why people under perform or settle is a lack of achievement drive. We all want to accomplish or achieve certain things in our lives, unless we are happy with the status quo.

People strong in their orientation toward achievement have a drive for working well or surpassing a particular standard of excellence. Achievement Drive is a skill that can be learned by practicing and mastering a few performance skills. One must want to surpass their own performance, like improving your communication skills in order to break your own past sales record or better position yourself for effective expression of your desires and needs.

Achievement Drive is not simply about accomplishing things and then checking them off our to-do list; Its rather about accomplishing things in a manner that exceeds some clear, challenging standard of excellence whether internal or external. In order to do that one must want to do more than just the minimum. They have to learn how to set goals that are reachable, but require a bit of stretching to achieve them, goals that require work to beat. They have to think like entrepreneurs and be willing to take moderate risks for an outcome they deem worthwhile. They have to have SMART GOALS. Goal setting is the number one thing to do, however one must stay in touch with their emotional pull or drive behind what it is they want to do by listening carefully for what is motivating to them.

They are very clear signs of a lack of achievement drive:

  1. Avoidance of fixed, firm standards for performance, whether actively, overtly, passively or covertly.
  2. Working without regard for expectations.
  3. Not pushing oneself, just getting by, doing the very minimum
  4. Not taking goals seriously
  5. Accepting the status quo
  6. Not trying to improve things
  7. Not rocking the boat
  8. Not having an internal standard of excellence

All these signs are fixable with proper coaching. By simply understanding what one loses by not taking action and also understanding what is gained by going that extra mile. They are exercises that can be done in order to structure and establish moderate risks. Having an accountability partner would be a great plus to help structure and keep one on track.

There is a simple, but structured step wise road map to goal setting that can be entered into with the help of a coach. Make this a year of developing your achievement drive for success in that one area of your life you know you need to improve in order for your business, family, relationship, finances or any other important aspect of your life to move to that next level.

Stay motivated and driven to achieve according to the capacity within you to do

See You There For The Empowerment!!!

4 Success Tips For Young Professionals

Ever get that feeling that older people won't take you seriously or disregard your knowledge because of your age? We are called to be people of strength and Influence, blessing people with the empowerment and skill as soon as we comprehend, no matter what age.

Many People in history were called young like: David and Daniel. So how do we establish ourselves, and at the same time not seem arrogant, cocky, or disrespectful as well?
The Bible reads: "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." -1 Timothy 4:12
To start:  simply let the light of God shine in you! God's love can't be limited by any thought or law. Let that be your good "first impression".
In Networking, First impressions are key to building a lasting relationship and opening up opportunities for yourself, business, cause, or organization. However, young innovators face a key hurdle in their quest for a great first impression: their age. Not everyone will judge you based on your date of birth, but there will be times when you will have to deal with negative preconceptions pertaining to your youthfulness.
It is paramount to your success as a young professional to get past this bias and really showcase who you are as a person and a professional. These guidelines will help you immediately establish credibility and offer you a better chance to be seen as a smart person rather than a young person.
Here are a few tips for all the young and not-so-young professionals in the world, because career always lines up with our calling!

Be Professional

Like beauty," unprofessionalism" is in the eye of the beholder. So it is always best to be on the safe side. Some important focus points:
Be early
  • Nobody likes to wait. Showing up late implies that you do not feel the meeting is important enough to be on time.
Dress for success
  • Pick out an acceptable outfit for a meeting. Then go dressier. Minimize the noise. You want your company to be the focus, not your outfit.
Be prepared
  • Have an agenda for the meeting. You want to show that this meeting is important enough for you to have planned for it.
  • Have copies of the agenda and necessary visual aids/documents.

Show Confidence

A confident attitude puts people at ease. It shows that you are able and willing to take on challenges.
Establish eye contact
  • Nonverbal communication can be more important than verbal cues. The eyes unconsciously provide important social and emotional information to both parties.
Use a firm handshake
  • Most people’s first impression of you is tied directly to this greeting ritual. A firm grip shows strength and vigor.
Speak in positive terms
  • Self-deprecation is a great way to get people to like you and will serve you well as your relationship progresses. However, it can be interpreted as lack of confidence in yourself. The initial meeting needs to showcase your self-assurance.

Take Charge

Going back to your preparation, you should already have an agenda. What do you want out of this meeting?
Quick overview
  • Use the agenda to briefly summarize what you want to discuss and what you hope to accomplish. Now both parties know where they stand.
Guide the conversation
  • You set the direction of the meeting. Follow the talking points of the agenda. Have a set of important questions ready.

Take Yourself Seriously

Know that you are just as worthy of this client/capital/media coverage as anyone. Ask yourself this, ‘If I don’t take myself seriously, who else will?’
Experience
  • You may be light on traditional experience, but you most likely have some life experience that has prepared you for this endeavor.
  • If you are new to the industry, remember that you are an expert in your company/idea. The hard work you put in has given you valuable knowledge in that area.
Passion
  • Not only is experience is a valuable asset, but also passion is key to entrepreneurial success. Highlight your passion. It will benefit you.
First impressions are made using a multitude of factors. As an entrepreneur you must be aware of these factors and take precautions to assure that your best self is apparent. Then you can take all distractions out of the equation and focus on the business at hand. Follow these guidelines and your true talent will shine through, your age will be an after thought.
