In Ezekiel Ch 11 The Lord shows Ezekiel The leaders who have brought controversy and evil into the city. The Lord tells Ezekiel to prophesy to them their fate. While prophesying one of the leaders Ezekiel is talking to dies. Ezekiel then falls down and cries out to God, asking a question He asked in an earlier chapter:
--Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell face-down and cried out in a loud voice, "Ah, Sovereign LORD! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?"
When Ezekiel cries out the first appearance of good news in the whole book comes about. The Lord tells Ezekiel He will deliver the exiles( which includes Ezekiel's family) and bring them back into inheritance. Ezekiel is lifted again as he continues to operate in his prophetic anointing. By the End of Chapter 11 Ezekiel is before the exiles "spreading the word":
--Then the vision I had seen went up from me, 25and I told the exiles everything the Lord had shown me.
That ends Ch 11. find out what happens next in Ch 12 and continue along with us as we "Spread The Word".
