Power, Purpose, and Restraint - I Don't Mind Waiting

How much easier things go when they're handled gently.

The most recent word that has been infiltrating my spirit is the power of gentleness, patience, and discipline.

Tired of getting no where fast? try slowing down to wait on and be led by the holy spirit to move.
Whether it's wanting a certain type of career, a marriage, or even for things just to get better, gentleness and discipline is the way to go. I've learned that when I wait on God intentionally, the provision that I desire comes quickly and accurately.

1 Corinthians 13:4-3 reads that love is patient, among a host of other things.

The practice of patience as it's works with discipline and restraint is also powerful. I was in someones's office the other day and saw these word's that struck me as powerful:

But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. - James 1:6

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. -Ephesians 4:14

Patience means not getting caught up in the hype.

Songs about the beauty of waiting inspired this blog post today!
