You Have A Promise Of Safety

HaShem, one of the names referring GOD, His name being too Holy to be spoken.

"Hashem is a Hebrew term for God. Literally, it means “the name.” In the Bible the Hebrew word for God is made up of four vowels, and according to tradition it was only pronounced on Yom Kippur by the High Priest. Saying God’s name was considered a very serious and powerful thing, so much so that one of the Ten Commandments prohibits us from saying God’s name in vain. As a result, people have come up with various substitutions."*

The name of The Lord is Holy. When we run to the name of The Lord we're running to a sacred place, a place where not just anything can run behind us. Not everything can enter the most holy place or The Most High's Presence.

The righteous, who have The Spirit of GOD in their hearts can. As the children of GOD when we run to name of The Lord we're protected. We're safe from the things that have no place in the presence of GOD.

The Lord told Abraham, that if he found fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, he wouldn't destroy the city.*

To be righteous is considered by some as being "in right standing with GOD". Righteousness is a position that we can choose to be in, it's one we can work to be in. It's certainly one that we're protected in.

As children of GOD, we can come to know our Father more, when we know our Father more we'll know that we can run to His Holy name, amongst other sacred things that are revealed to us in the covenant we have.

May we seek to live in the safety of The Lord continually.

But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of man except his own spirit within him? So too, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God12We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. - 1 Corinthians 2:10-13

Prayers To Keep The Peace

A stomach ache can be from the stress that comes with being an automatic entrepreneur, a stomach ache can be from the fact that you ate egg salad with old boiled eggs that you accidently burnt, and then left sitting out for a day, and honestly in the time we're living in right now, a stomach ache could be coronavirus, because you already have hypochondriac  tendencies and google your symptoms whenever anything happens.

Yeah, all these conclusions are pretty much my own. After going to sleep with a stomach ache, despite whatever the cause was, praying for healing and relief is what really has me feeling so much better now. As I prayed I literally sensed the Lord fighting for me in the spirit.

I could share some intricate, scientific article about how to relieve stress as an entrepreneur, and maybe I will on a different platform, but honestly prayer is everything. Even as an entrepreneur praying about what clients to take on and how you can assist them, I've found it to be helpful.

In regards to health, I've found that prayer works! No issue is too small. Stomach ache: pray about it, restless leg syndrome: pray about it. Prayer works! I believe when we pray GOD hears us.

A few scriptures that agree with GOD hearing our prayers:
"And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him." - 1 John 5:15
"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." - Jeremiah 29:12-13
"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 7:14
"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." - Jeremiah 29:12
"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" - James 5:16
The key is not just to prayer when we're feeling bad or stressed, but to pray without ceasing.

Prayer Is First Priority

As much as I want to get things done, I'm becoming extremely uncomfortable with doing anything else before I pray. I'm grateful for this. It's time for relationship with GOD more than religion.

Any relationship with a person, place, idea or thing, can take second place all day!
Prayer helps me tap into the TRUE source of strength. It's essential. It's powerful.

Prayer and GOD's word is Everything!

Pray From A Place of Faith

Pray from a place of faith not fear. In the same vein, Give from a place of fullness not lack.

It came to me that in the past, sometimes I've sought to share with others, from a place of lack wanting to be liked or accepted by people. Feeling like people could provide validation of some sort.

The truth is we should give because there's an overflow of what God has given us. The gifts, understanding and blessings that we have in abundance is what we're supposed to give out of. Even if that's just having faith from your experiences to share.

Fear of loss, or any type of fear is not the best point to pray from. It shows that we think whatever problem we're facing is bigger than GOD. The great news is that nothing is. Pray from a place of trust, adoration and confidence. Whatever the situation is the King is in control.

Who is the King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
the LORD mighty in battle.

-Psalm 24:8

Pray, Hustle, Then Pray Some More.

by: April D. Byrd

So often I need to remind myself that prayer is the key and source of energy. Most of the time when I get up, the first thing I wanna do is get going with my OWN plans for the day! That's after I get up from a 2 hour snooze from the time I "wanted" to get up! It's usually the "special" things that get me going.

A friend told me this morning that "I Hate to get up in the morning", she went on in her rant that "You're not a morning person". I wanted to be appalled, but I couldn't even argue. People know us by our actions. As much as I want to be in demand in charge, I know most of the time that never comes unless I've been in the spirit, been fortified in the replenishment of worship. It's a game changer. Most of the time I end up doing extra stuff I never even thought I would do. Like the energizer bunny.

A lot of success/money magazines list "meditation" as one of the top habits of wealthy people. I'm not knocking meditation, it has it's place, but I think in the spirit of God, truly acknowledging that, there is so much more.

You can call it meditating or whatever you want, but we know what it is. Honestly that time spent in the spirit, that direct line of communication with our maker is what gives the energy, the hustle, the grind we need, all of that. Pray everyday.  Pray without ceasing is what the word says. Prayer is the thing that causes our lives to reflect greatness. The word of God is life changing we know... even when I'm searching through the #scripture tag on Instagram I feel empowered. I guess that would be 10 times better if the word is coming from the life giver Himself.
Note: that Beyoncé didn't wake up like that, and Oprah didn't do it all own her OWN. You will find both of them attributing their success to one God. The one who controls the universe, inspired the Bible, and uplifts our souls. Pray! your spirit will thank you, you will be motivated. It ALWAYS works for me.
