Resilience Is from GOD's glory

If we look back at all the things we’ve overcome and even how we handle the things we’re going through, it can be attested that we’re resilient, or we’re strong in the face of trials.

The word says there will be trouble in this world, but it’s The Most High who has overcome the world. When we’re in The Most High, we have the ability to overcome The World.

I talk about this more in the short video (below)

To find strength when we need it the most, to find love in a hopeless place, or to get even a little bit of life in a place that seems desolate, barren, and lost . . . these are miraculous things to witness.✨

Somebody may have said at some point in life: “There’s no hope for you”.  .  . you may have even thought that about yourself at one point, but for us who believe, we have great hope.

This is hope we would never have without GOD's Word.

Scripture says, we have GOD's most precious glory in “earthen vessels” i.e. in us.

The beautiful light of GOD through Yeshua is in His chosen ones.

Wherever GOD's people are, light is.

We become the light of the world that can't be hidden, when we receive The One who gives us The Light.

How You Treat Others Reflects Your Self-love Level

When we're loving, we're reflecting GOD's love for us outward. Get in GOD's love.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

- Mark 12:30-31

It's hard to do when there is hardness in you. These are facts. Check your love level. Get into the presence and flow of the one who has more than enough abundance to give. Your creator who created you and knows your heart.

Blessed Avengence

I woke up this morning and heard that I was cheap! Yep, in a word it was confirmed how I've been cheating GOD and ultimately myself in so many ways. The understanding that I had ONE JOB evaded me. I think this "one job" is often taken too lightly, especially if we follow our own thoughts/perception or "walk according to our flesh".

In today's episode of Breath Of Life Daily podcast, I talk more about how straying from the one job and/or disobedience is costly. It can cost us well-being, opportunities, prosperity etc.

A few scriptures that I came across in relation to the context of the episode are shared below. Feel free to share any other ones that you also think may apply in the comments.

2 Corinthians 10: 3-6

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."

- - -

Luke 7: 36-50

36Then one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to eat with him, and He entered the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. 37When a sinful woman from that town learned that Jesus was dining there, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume. 38As she stood behind Him at His feet weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears and wipe them with her hair. Then she kissed His feet and anointed them with the perfume.

39When the Pharisee who had invited Jesus saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, He would know who this is and what kind of woman is touching Him—for she is a sinner!”

40But Jesus answered him, Simon, I have something to tell you.

“Tell me, Teacher,” he said.

41Two men were debtors to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii,e and the other fifty. 42When they were unable to repay him, he forgave both of them. Which one, then, will love him more?”

43“I suppose the one who was forgiven more,” Simon replied.

You have judged correctly, Jesus said.

44And turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, Do you see this woman? When I entered your house, you did not give Me water for My feet, but she wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45You did not greet Me with a kiss, but she has not stopped kissing My feet since I arrived. 46You did not anoint My head with oil, but she has anointed My feet with perfume. 47Therefore I tell you, because her many sins have been forgiven, she has loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.

48Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

49But those at the table began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

50And Jesus told the woman, Your faith has saved you; go in peace.

Proverbs 24:16

16For though a righteous man may fall seven times, he still gets up;

but the wicked stumble in bad times.

If you fall down 7 times, stand up 8! Repent and obey.

Blessed Generations

I came across this video on social media looking for other Motivational/Inspirational videos, but this one blessed my soul unexpectedly.

It was a generational theme where multiple generations greeted each other. what I took from it was: when you heal, you don't just heal for yourself, you heal for multiple generations after you, but The healing starts with you.

It's interesting, because I was just having a conversation with one of my mentors about healing and mental health awareness in the black community, and how the conversation has somewhat progressed.

It's crazy how the enemy wants to keep our mind attacked and bombarded with toxic cycles, with struggles and the like. Things get heavy sometimes. We find ourselves going through the same struggles as the generation before us.  Personally, because I think a lot, it's like my mind sometimes is a battlefield. It's honestly prayer and therapy that has been carrying me through and helping me progress. I'm also a member of a church that's pretty solid.

Especially when you're pushing for healing and wholeness you're coming against a battle to break the cycles you've become accustomed to, and break the curses before you. Think about this when you persevere. . . you're not only pushing for you, you're pushing for generations behind you. You're pushing to further healing through your generations.

The current study at the ministry I'm apart of is Ruth from the Bible, and her obedience.  Her obedience and being in position, allowing her self to be open to GOD's will set her up so her bloodline could pass throughout generations, even becoming one of the ancestors of Jesus.

So when you're going through and it's hard, first realize that you're not alone, GOD is with you in this battle because 'The Battle is the Lords', also realize that when you push through and when you claim your victory, you're also setting up blessings for the generations behind you.

Keep believing and trusting that GOD has plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11

It doesn't even have to be your offspring that you bless, it could be your little sister or brother. The random person you met who you intentionally ministered to and told about the gospel or shared your testimony with. The people that you bless and affect are also you passing along a generational blessing!

Stay blessed and keep pushing forward!

What are your thoughts on multi-generational blessings? Share them in the comments and connect with us on all platforms @BOLDJournal.

Heavy On The Thank You GOD! - 2020

There's a meme circulating around the internet that says "Heavy on The Thank You GOD!" of course my first thought was: "I know that's right!"

Let's not take for granted this air that we're breathing everyday. For some people the air quality and the ability to breathe is not the same, due to this coronavirus pandemic. Let's appreciate these blessings that keep coming our way every day!

I recall being at a brunch at the beginning of this year, being empowered with a bunch of women in a packed room, never imagining that the social trajectory of the society we live in would change.

Who would have thought that a few months later being at a brunch  with several women would be unheard of for concern of it being a health risk?

GOD knows things before we do. GOD knows what we need before we even need it. So yes, heavy on the Thank you GOD for sure! What are some things that you're thankful for today? Name them and claim them!

The more grateful we are the more things there are to be grateful for.

Take The Victory Seriously

I was feeling so defeated last night. As a creative, I've been doing this online platform building for a while now, and it seems like the support (that I wanted) never came through, and now that it's time to really pipe up with creating, I felt defeated and drained at the thought of continuing with the same "minimal support".

It's truly is past the time to step up and be creative, but now with everything that is going on digitally, it's the most opportune time to execute and create! Additionally, it's the most opportune one for the enemy to have us feeling defeated and planting seeds of doubt. Whispering defeat, highlighting the things we don't have.

That feeling of defeat was fake! It was false evidence appearing real. In actuality the ways that I really needed to be supported I have been and beyond, even in ways that were miraculous and unexpected. It's a matter of being clear about what's needed and tapping in to the capacity that's available to get it.

It's time to go to that next level and people don't know what support you need, or how you need it until you ask. It's time to be intentional about asking.

"You have not, because you ask not."

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, without scorn; and it shall be given him." - James 1:5

If the asking and support needed is in GOD's purpose and not for my consumption, then it will surely be supplied.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" - Matthew 7:7

The victory has already been won. Now it's a matter of aligning with GOD in purpose, getting on track and staying focused! It's time to use our gifts more seriously. It's time to take the victory more strategically.

Have a prosperous day!

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of man except his own spirit within him? So too, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God12We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. - 1 Corinthians 2:10-13

Push Toward Your Prosperity #BOLDPodcast Season 2: Episode 11

Leaf, Growth, Seed, Plant, Green, Nature, Agriculture

GOD's will is for you to prosper, but what if you don't know what prosperity looks like? What if you're not familiar with it because you've never seen it modeled before you?

I can tell you first hand what that confusion looks like is even when you're trying to level up you might get confused and disheartened being in uncharted territory. The process of growth is like being in a foreign land. You're out of your comfort zone.

The best part about that is, it's the exact place we can seek revelation, and get to the best GUIDE who absolutely knows the way!

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

Faith and The Fire

Ignite The Fire! Spread The Fire . . .like Wild Fire! Fire In The Hole! There is something about the Holy Spirit . . . It's LIT!

No demon, no illness, nothing outside the will of GOD can come and sit comfortably in the presence of the Holy Spirit. This passion is my new infatuation. Check out the inspiration and revelation I received on the latest pod.

Scripture reference:  “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. - Matthew 6:28-34

New Group Devotional: GOD's Grace By Tony Evans

For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, so no man should boast. - Ephesians 2:8

I love how GOD is Amazing! I was trying to find a good devotional plan to read next on YouVersion. Grace is something that's really been in my spirit lately, so I wanted to read something concerning it.

The few plans that I initially found I really wasn't vibing with. I know I like Priscilla Shirer's rhetoric, so to find something in YouVersion about grace written by her would have been awesome. I didn't see that combination in YouVersion. Instead of continually searching in the wind I prayed for GOD to lead me to the right one.

Immediately after praying about it, when I went to look again one of the first devotional's I saw was "GOD's Grace" by Tony Evans.

I was so happy to find it! My face lit up. If you don't know, Tony Evans is Priscilla Shirer's daddy. Yep, Priscilla Shirer is Tony Evan's seed. I can imagine that fact influences what she knows of the word, So when I found the simple. straight to the point title that has the exact name I wanted to read about, it was beyond a blessing, serendipity even. I'm super excited to get started with it.

Like the last devotional I did to get the 2020 Easter Badge. I've opened it up as a group devotional. Yep, you can join in on the reading and the convo.

Special thanks to everyone that joined the last one it was great fellowship, insight and a fun way to stay on track. Looking forward to seeing you there.

What are some good devotionals that you've found to read on YouVersion? Shoot me your reccomendations in the comments section below, and continue the convo with Breath Of Life Daily on all social media platforms @BOLDJournal

Sex And The Church #BOLDPodcast | Season 2: Episode 6

It's amazing how GOD will come through with confirmation and love when you need it the most. In hosting The InterSession, with this specific topic of sex and worth, I received an unexpected blessing that felt like full love and confirmation from the creator that I erroneously looked for everywhere else in the past.

The panelists: Veonne Anderson, Jay Tyson, Olivia Butler and Darian A. Williams were all right on point with their commentary about pre-marital sex, Such an amazing, knowledgeable group of influencers. I couldn't have hoped for a better panel to talk about this topic with.

As you listen to this episode I hope you will be encouraged to find and honor the truth of sex and it's function as ordained by the creator in the word of truth. In my personal experience the more I sought, the more I find my worth, and as I continue this journey the process also continues.

Be Enlightened. Subscribe to Breath Of Life Daily to get the latest episodes first. Continue the conversation @BOLDJournal on all social media channels. You can also join the Official Facebook Group.

#DontRush Challenge Yourself To Be Excellent

A lot of these #DontRushChallenge videos are coming through on social media. The concept of the video is to make an instant change from busted to beautiful, or from simple to suave quickly, based on the videos I've seen.

The irony is that the transition time is actually "rushed", but the lyrics say otherwise. Sometimes, I find myself in an anxious mindset that resembles this concept. I don't think I'm alone. It's so easy to see awesome things people are doing or even have our own ideas, and want a quick fix to get to them done, or to think we should be in a certain place, at a certain time according to our own plans.

I had to remind myself today as a writer, that although I want to get books out, I just can't rush the process for the sake of getting them out quick, while the digital rat race is at an all time high! I was reminded by spirit to be excellent in anything that I do.

If that takes time then that's fine as long as I'm happy with the work I've done, it's quality, and it's impactful to somebody else. At the end of the day if I've manifested that thing/idea which I set my mind to with the excellence I received when it was given to me, then I would be providing the best service to myself and others who partake of whatever that thing is.

I posted a tweet the other day similar to the concept of not rushing, but reaching for excellence.

Most often the hard thing is to avoid the quick fix, it's to avoid settling for mediocre results for what you dream of. It's bypassing the beaten path. Don't rush your process. Trust and wait on GOD's timing while you work in excellence, that's what I plan to do.
