#TeamJesus2012

Jesus said "When I am lifted up from earth, I will draw all men unto me...."  -John 12:32. If we wanna see a better America it needs to be filled with people who understand their divine purpose and value in the world. It's not about  Obama or Romney it's about God ultimately  and our voting should reflect which candidate most closely values and honors the standards of God. This should be the only sense of bias influencing our vote.

As much as I  love Obama's eloquent speech, there is no way he should automatically get the Black American vote just because he identifies with the culture, the same goes for Romney. Because politics is not a black and white thing, it's all about Red. The blood of Jesus that was shed so that each individual could have purpose and freedom.

America won't get better until there arises a candidate who truly supports this agenda. Jesus died so that we may have life more abundantly, I'm sure liberty and the pursuit of happiness is in that abundance.  The words engraved on the liberty bell are "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof": -Leviticus 25:10, but true liberty will never come if we don't acknowledge the creator with everything we are as individuals first, and united citizens apart God's nation. If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. -2 Chronicles 7:14

The structure of America has changed with technology, growth, & industry, and that's appropriate, but the values of Holy scripture remain the same,  they should should still be honored, certainly by the country whose birth was strongly influenced by them. It seems as though America has squandered away her freedom rights, especially financially, but her strength was never based on money, it was always liberty. If America was born to be a refuge, it was initiated with a people who knew : There is no fear in love... -1 John 4:18

Perfect love drives out fear, and perfect love is in divine purpose. So, what truly matters is the Individuals who adhere to divine purpose. Scripture says 'If "my" people who are called by my name... True freedom is in the hearts of those individuals who understand that their liberty is in the purpose of God for their lives.

Can you hear the voice and feel the sensation of God, Is His Character and essence reflected in you so much that it's clear and undeniable you are His kid. These are good indicators that you might be apart of the people who are called by His name.

So what party will you REALLY be affiliated with this coming election year? If you're down with G. O .D let all the polls be raised in favor of TEAM JESUS!

The Secret Angels

...We all have our own personal secret service, their just a lot more powerful.

I was reading in Psalm 34 and this one verse was so powerful I could not read past it.

"The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them."
(Psalm 34:7)

REALLY! wow I just got stuck in that place, because it's so amazing. I definitely felt a big sense of protection yesterday going deeper into the knowledge of the forces in this world and spiritual warfare as it pertains to the media. I actually felt like there were angels around me protecting me. I just love this verse. It really screamed loud to me and stood out.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him... As we should know the fear in this passage is not a trembling OMG its Frankenstein! type of fear, but it's fear meaning- reverence and respect. Basically those who acknowledge God and are in awe of Him, the angel of the Lord encamps around them. Also, it not only says the angel encamps around them, it says he DELIVERS them.

Yes, wow indeed! As children and believers of God we are delivered, saved with supernatural power and a protection over us. Now this is daily... not just for a few seconds or a minute. God is with us always:

"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
(Matthew 28:20)

So when we revere and observe to do the things God has commended and respect Him, not only are we walking with wisdom, but we have supernatural protection around us because of it.

Wow, just Wow! That really touched my soul.

What are your thoughts on this verse Psalm 34:7? What other scriptures stand out really powerfully to you?

Monday

Can You Hear Me Now?

This generation is the enlightenment generation. Our eyes have been more open to self-help, emotional intelligence, and the deeper meaning of scripture. We also have a bountiful array of ministers and preachers under new aliases now: the "Life Coaches", "Motivational Speakers", etc. Everyone is a minister in their own right. We are all more "enlightened" partly because it's also a generation of a lot more media access. Media is an extremely powerful force; it controls how we connect with everything and everyone. The alarm and great reminder to be careful of what I take in was so monumental today it was shocking, as a matter of fact this is a first in my life that I've been made so aware of what's happening in the world.

Yes I hear you really clear this time... and Wow!
I grew up in front of the television, and listening to radio I believe it's why I am so drawn to media in the first place. I never gave it much thought that the devil had as much influence as people claimed he had, God has power over all and I don't give any other spirit a bit of airtime, but I'll admit I have been a little Naive when it came to the topic darkness and spiritual warfare...ok really naive! Being a former orphan I'm like God's little girl that’s always protected and looked out for through the good forces of the world; just tucked away in my own happy go-lucky world (Ya'll know I'm happy 99% of the time). Honestly, it’s sad to say, but I have not purposely paid any wrong spirit a bit of attention. However, I guess just like with money, it's: "More media, more problems"!

Between professional writing, blogging and social media I have been very active on the internet. The superhighway of information does deliver a rush in itself. I've noticed the more active I've been on the internet the less active I've been in prayer and meditation... don't even mention worship. Like I said I've always watched and listened to whatever was going on in pop culture and the entertainment world and I knew it played a major influence, but like so many others I did not consider the gravity of it all. I have been feeling such a strong pull to get back into the word and the spirit especially because of the vision for myself as "Breath Of Life Daily" and all it encompasses. Now I'm surer in the resolution to cling like super glue to my purpose, and be more mindful of worldly media than ever.

It all started this morning when I woke up. I really wanted to pray and get into God's presence, but because I purposely did not set my alarm and woke up later than I intended to, I skipped it. I knew I had two Fiverr jobs to finish, so even though the will to pray was on me so strongly, I chose not to and went straight to the internet to finish the jobs. When I finished them I felt relieved, but stayed on the internet like I usually do. If you've been keeping an eye on the blog you've noticed I haven't posted in a while. I got another job that takes up all my time. The point is instead of praying this morning I stayed on the internet. I turned on some music to get me motivated instead. I share music on Mondays anyway, so I decided to do a short post since I hadn’t been posting at all. Before I turned on the radio I had an idea of what I wanted to listen to BeyoncĂ© of course. "Schoolin' Life" I love the upbeat dance groove, but I decided I'd had enough of that from so many replays. I decided to listen to a beautiful song of hers that goes with the purpose of B.O.L.D. so well "I Was Here" the song and the video touched my heart.

Even though: First Sign- there was something funny and strange about the video. It's was very moving, in fact too moving, I wanted to cry almost the same as if worshipping God. That felt extremely weird, but again...I ignored it and shared it on social media anyway. I chose not to use the song in the Music Monday post because I wanted something upbeat and motivational. The song I chose was "Run The World". I was happy with this, motivated and in my own little groove. After sharing the post on Facebook I got a comment from a fan speaking on hidden messages in the vid. She made a specific reference to a particular scene with a woman on a cross and when I saw it I was still at first, but when it registered in my head I was beyond shocked, that was the Second Sign. I erased the video immediately.
Chilling I know, but it had to be shared.

I have heard the stories about different entertainers and their affiliations with devil worship. The image in that video is still mortifying just thinking about it. So I erased the video and its social media shares, but forgot about the ones I shared in the Facebook groups. Someone tried to click it informed me they we're having trouble with the link. I told her what happened and she shared a link full of rich detail on this topic that opened my eyes and has forever changed the way I view the entertainment world and myself.

I didn't want to believe in all this secret society talk. I just wanted to ignore it, but this is definitely a lesson that I have learned today: Be mindful of the things that seem harmless. Listen to God when He speaks. Follow your purpose strongly with your whole heart, find who you authentically are, be obedient to His will and only seek His media. This video is long but it has changed the way I view the world and those things in it. I will always be for the one and only almighty God and His voice in the world.

Today has really been a lesson. God has been steadily calling my spirit back into the place of worship and true devotion to spend time in His presence for the authenticity of my spirit. And with all these signs that took place I know for sure He is saying "Can you hear me now?" I surely hear Him and everyone with a soul should too! I still do not agree 100% with what is said in this video but its correct in that all of us have a purpose and should follow closely what the bible says, not what the world does.

Falling Upward

By Jennifer Osbourne

All great men and women have failed there way to success! It is time to let go of the false stigma of failure, that says you fail because you are not good enough. In reality only those who dare to try, pursue their dreams, and take action have the glorious honor of failing.

All great lessons and transformative change only takes place after real failure! For those of us that want to impact the world, leave a legacy, and dare to tread the lonely path of greatness; failure must become our kin folk and teacher.

Have a great day! ...and dare to fail your way to success.

Build What Matters First...Then Go Hard!

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet lose his soul. --Mark 8:36

For all the success mongers and big dreamers we know we want the world. We wanna live it up! So we should. However, the grounding of our spirit is the only thing that matters in the end when everything else and everybody else goes away. What will we be left with besides our soul? So, if we really wanna build something up it should be our soul.

Life is good and we can't have a beneficial, complete one if our soul standing isn't really right. Peace of mind is everything. To have that we should feed our soul. Our hearts should have confidence and trust in the word of God first, because all the issues of life come out of it.

If you got all the riches in the world, but it comes with a headache and a heartache then something is seriously wrong! The bible says "The blessing (empowerment) of the Lord maketh rich and adds no sorrow. --Proverbs 10:22  The people that don't have the material wealth need to get their minds right so when they get it they don't go crazy, but use it accordingly and the people that do have it need to stop placing such a heavy dependence on it. The spirit of God is the only medium of balance in between.  Wholeness is in God. So, where can you go, what are you gonna do about it?

It's great to be a go-getter, but what's the point of having everything with no soul to enjoy it. It's like having a huge feast set before you, but  having no taste buds. Really! Living outside of the purpose for wealth and empowerment takes the flavor out of life. Add some spice by empowering your spirit first. When you first win on the inside, the outside can't help but line up.

Monday

Family Ties

I just came back from the family reunion in Douglas, GA. I had a good time and I got frustrated a couple of times. It always seems like everything comes with it's good and it's bad elements. We all are ultimately tied to God, so as they say "it's all good!" Knowing that God always has our best interest at heart makes everything we do worth doing. I had fun with the family, meeting new family, and I tried to stay as busy as possible.

The thing about life is we don't learn or will never know what's going on, until we engage. Engaging life and living an active one, cooperating with God and people gives us the ammunition we need to do great things. Coming off all the drama of the weekend and reflecting on the time I had, when I got home one scripture came to mind clearly:

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9)
Even though it's Monday, the beginning of the week and it's easy to drag coming off the excitement of the week-end. we should keep going hard, stay strong and be motivated. You only got one life to live, give it all you got, with the people you love. With God on your side you can't go wrong!

Be blessed, give life, think BOLD

Have a Great Monday!

Be Wise and Know

There are a lot of things to be said about wisdom, and by wisdom, as mostly in Proverbs it is wisdom who cries out. Beautifully enough wisdom is characterized as a woman. Now for me every time wisdom is mentioned, there is one blog and blogger that comes to mind. 'Be Wise and Know' by Danielle Braxton, other wise known as Elegant Granny.

The Bible says Wisdom and Knowledge shall be the stability of our times...(Isaiah 33:6)  So that's all the time, as long as we live. It doesn't matter if it's June 1, 2012 or April 14, 2030 whatever the time is  actively using wisdom and knowledge will always provide stability.

Each and every person needs wisdom and knowledge especially in this world that changes so fast.

In honor of Granny, here are 5 Biblical quotes from Proverbs on wisdom as they pertain to the success, love, and happiness of living:

Life
Wisdom comes fully packed, better than beautiful blind justice herself, wisdom's hands are balanced with all the essentials: Long life is in her right hand;in her left hand are riches and honor.  (Proverbs 3:16)

Money
Having wisdom is more valuable than anything we could ever possess: for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. (Proverbs 3: 14-15)

Family
Wisdom has more abundance than your family tree, and makes for an even better community: She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed. (Proverbs 3:18)

Faith
Wisdom and guidance is found in trusting God: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3: 5-6)

Love
Truly knowing and valuing wisdom with all you heart gives you a good reputation. It's so charming that everyone will like you: Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. (Proverbs 3: 3-4)

Thanks Granny for sharing all of your wonderful wisdom on the web and with the world.

From Victim to Victory: 3 Tips For Conquering Ego

The ego is an interesting entity.  It is that critical inner voice that tells us we're no good, unworthy and incapable. When we defy it's strident comments and succeed at anything it tells us that we are going to be found out as a fraud and that things will ultimately fall down around us. If we manage to continue to enjoy higher levels of love, happiness and success, it takes the credit! -Anonymous

It's bad enough to get bullied from other people, but to take harassment from your own mind is horrible. And it seems like our own thoughts can make us feel worse than anybody else ever could. When we fall short of certain goals or intentions, It can make us feel guilty, but that guilt isn't just there to beat us up we should us it to our advantage. Here are 3 simple, but powerful tips to help in the conquering of your own inner bully.  Decide to no longer be the victim.

Take action:
It's never to late to get moving. Even if you think it's to late, as long as you have life in your body its never too late to move in the right direction. Know that you have no limitations on you whatsoever. Nothing can limit you, not religion, addiction, people, or time, unless you place those limits on yourself. You can move in the right direction for your life no matter what you've done, or how old you are.

Erase the Illusion:
Sometimes we can procrastinate or continue with bad habits, because we don't keep a top priority in  mind, or haven't established a clear and defined goal to look to in order to keep moving. If we expect to accomplish anything there must be a set strategy. Don't hold on to your dreams, adhere to your goals. You can accomplish them one step at a time.

Be Sociable:
Be as participative and social as possible. The ego likes to divide your world. It create barriers, separation, and makes comparisons. Being engaged with people, and organizations gives you a sense of responsibility, the accountability of being involved can keep you busy. Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it. -Henry Thoreau. Take advantage of the presence of others, a sense of community can make you a feeling whole. An idol mind is the devil's playground.  If you have to, meditate on good things. (Philippians 4:8) Always make sure you are positively interacting with the life around you. Also, God is the best conversationalist. You are never alone.
In the boxing ring of life, there is always someone in your corner.

Great Expectations

Sometimes I get paralyzed in a state of thoughts and questions, but the best thing to do really is just to act, to move forward and embrace the goodness of God for life. As I was laying and thinking nothing seemed clear, but when I got up and begin to move none of what I was thinking about mattered.

Sometimes life gets confusing, but the best we can do is embrace those good things and keep moving forward. It's easy to come up with reasons why we can't, we should embrace the reasons why we can.

What goes hand in hand with the reasons we can is the Gospel a.k.a "the Good news" not just in the form of the biblical word, but through uplifting music. This song by Jonathan Nelson just came at a great time for me, I love it! It's an all around feel-good song with a positive message: "Expect The Great"!

When we operate in the great, we can just keep going, expectation and the things we perceive are very powerful. We can expect bad or expect good in the end the choice and the outcome is up to us how we are really gonna feel about certain situations. It's like waiting for something good in the mail, just the anticipation of it, keeps you motivated and inspired. So each day as we live we should live not worrying, but in whatever we do, just expect the Great.

The goodness of God is over our lives no matter what situation we are in, we should embrace this goodness. If we expect it, we make ourselves prepared for it. God is able, so do at all times don't just expect the mediocre or even the good, EXPECT THE GREAT!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Wednesday

Power, Vision, and Words

Sometimes it's easy to get lost in thought, but focus is such a predominant factor of life. Life is so funny that it's set up in a way that if you don't prioritize you will get lost. We can't be too righteous or too doubtful we can only focus, it's the only thing that works, focus is important. In Psalm 39 David apparently tried "sitting pretty" as to keep from saying anything wrong. It didn't work!

(Psalms 39: 1-3)
1 I said, “I will watch my ways
and keep my tongue from sin;
I will put a muzzle on my mouth
while in the presence of the wicked.”
2 So I remained utterly silent,
not even saying anything good.
But my anguish increased;
3 my heart grew hot within me.
While I meditated, the fire burned;

How often does this happen?  When we begin to open our mouths and really focus on God, the spirit and the fire comes and that power in that moment is like no other. Notice He Say's "when I didn't say anything  my anguish increased. So many times we let life just happen, we let it go by without a word spoken and don't take up our power to speak. But the power is in the praise, and it's the speaking up that makes all the difference. When we focus on God in praise, the fire of the spirit overtakes us. We can produce we can do anything because that power is for creativity. It's strength to begin to move and act to shift circumstances.

Focus promotes fertility. Whatever you meditate on you will produce. David said: "As I meditated, the fire burned." "Then I spoke with my tongue" that's so familiar because it really happens. When the fire comes it cannot be held in. Words are powerful and they are definitely tools that are meant to be used. It's important to focus on the Lord Because our vision, and the vision for our lives in Him. Anything else we look for outside of purpose fails miserably. We can go so far and in the wrong way and be lost, but the right answer is always waiting, and it's nowhere but in the Lord.
( vs 7.) "But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you."
The Power, the Vision, and the Words are in the Lord. What are you looking for and where are you placing your meditation?
