Yardley Activated Charcoal Bath Bar (Review)

I have always been a fan of Yardley Soap Bars. The Oatmeal & Almond Bar was particularly my favorite. I remember being a cashier at Walgreens and buying a bar every time it was payday. So when I got the opportunity to try Yardley's new Activated Charcoal Moisturizing Bath Bar, I was excited about it.

Although I was a bit skeptical because it was charcoal, and I thought it would be more drying than anything, once I started using it I noticed my skin felt a lot softer and mosturized. I even got a compliment from one of my friends about how soft my skin looked.

The blend of activated charcoal, coconut oil, and bentonite clay among other ingredients act as the perfect combination for mosturizing the skin while also cleansing it. The bar itself suprisingly hasn't dried out at all. I do keep it in a travel case, but it seems to be the consistency and ingredients of the soap that keeps itself soft.

Activated Charcoal is known for it's ability to help draw out impurities and combines with bentonite clay to help purify and cleanse skin. The shower experience is also refreshing since Yardley's Activated Charcoal bar uplifts with notes of spearmint and bergamot to energize and excite the senses.

Hopefully you get a chance to try it out as well and leave your thoughts in the comment section below or tag @BOLDJournal online to let me know how you like it. You can find Yardley's new Activated Charcoal Soap at Walmart.
